Strobe light kgo

Okay so after charging, one of my kgo battery's button blinks like a strobe light and starts bright and then stobes dimmer and dimmer until no longer lit. I have had this set of 2 batteries for a few months now so I am assuming it is just dying... but I'm not sure what to do about turning it off... or tossing it or what to do really... any miracle cures out there or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
Also I will be needing to buy a new toy now... any suggestions? I'm thinking of just going good ole' ego which I shouldve done from the start but I have gotten plenty of love out of these as well.

Sorry, no miracle cure. Time for a proper burial.

The power drain from blinking may be thoroughly draining it, so that may not be a concern. But off to the recycle farm, if possible.

You don't say what kind of budget, but if you're looking lower end, I'd suggest looking into a Vision Spinner or Ego Twist, and stepping to variable voltage.
