The RY4 and double mint are really strong from vaporoptions. I think they are out of the RY4 thought. The double mint really tastes like you are chewing gum or just brushed your teeth. I didn't think I would like mint, because I always hated menthol but I really love it! The double mint also gives a really good throat hit. It's worth trying. Their butterscotch is also strong, but way to buttery for me.

I'm looking for some strong flavors, I barely taste my e-liquid.
I'm not real picky any flavor, just want to actually taste it.

I can barely taste my cappucino:confused:

What are the strongest flavors you've vaped and from where??

Are/were you a smoker before you started vaping?

A lot of folks here suggest that, as a smoker, it takes some time for your tastebuds to "wake up".

I've been vaping for only a couple of weeks and am currently on day 6 without lighting an analog at all and I'm noticing that, SLOWLY, I'm starting to actually taste things again (food, drink, juices...everything).

Just my thoughts...

I'm getting desperate for some flavor too. Only ones worth mentioning were the Dekang RY4 (which I hated at first but now really like.. I don't get it) and grape... I gave up on Lorann's; just weird and chemicaly... Just bought some capellas as a last ditch effort before resigning myself to just buying cheap Dekang and dealing with it...

if you're looking for flavor...try a higher voltage. there's a huge difference in flavor between 3.7v and 5v/6v.

Thanks Flitz
Yea I have a protege arriving in a few days, using a 510 now.
Next I'm considering a PS Passthru because I think it will be available before the new Protege Passthru adaptor. I haven't even tried the Protege and I'm already ready for 5 volts :p
If it gives more flavor that would be awesome! But I hear alot of people saying it cuts the flavor too. Does it depend on the liquid ?

well, don't confuse the two, the Protege is a 3.7v device, the Prodigy is a 5v device.

however, the new USB Protege Passthru adapter will give 5v (closer to 4.4v i believe).

i do see a lot of people say that it cuts flavor, but i personally don't see that at all. i also can't be sure of what they're using, but me personally i love my Prodigy at 5v. i mix my own flavors though, and most of them are literally mouth-watering delicious, and those same flavors at 3.7v are way muted to the point i can barely taste them.

once you try high voltage it's very difficult to go back.

but, the Protege even at 3.7v is an amazing device, the consistency with the better battery really comes through. i tend to use my Protege with "tobacco" type flavors, and my Prodigy for custom flavors.

I'm guessing that it's different for everyone but...

When I first started I could taste some flavors and not others. Within about a week, I couldn't really taste anything other than menthol. Throat hit went down dramatically with the apparent loss of flavor as well. It was driving me 'nuts' reading people's reviews of ejuice...'oh, the flavor,' 'tastes yummy,' blah blah, but I kind of had a sense of what they were talking about based upon my 'early' days.

Desperate, I went to a Silver Bullet at 6v and now the only thing that tastes decent to me and knocks my nic fits down is 48mg menthol . This set-up also got me off of constant pacifier mode and now I can take a hit or two every once in a while and then put the thing down.

In my scramble to get a Silver Bullet I also ordered a load of flavors from diyflavorshack. I received those shortly after the SB but can't use them, they taste like pure, hot steamy sugar coming out of the SB, quite sickening after a couple of hits (like I say, I'm sure it's different for everyone, no knock on the 'flavorshack' at all, just doesn't work for me or my set-up).

I am about to try to begin mixing my own. Ordered 60mg nic juice, pg, vg, flavors, even a 'chemistry set' (sort of) so I'll see how that goes but in the meanwhile I'm quite happy with the menthol and have about a week's supply of that left (note to self: order more 'staple' 48mg menthol juice before it's too late).

If anyone figures this diminishing flavor thing out, please, do-tell (report back). as it'd be great to know.

Keoke Coffee from MyFreedomSmokes. It is really, really strong - and delicious! It is not as sweet as other coffee juices that I've tasted.

Parliament is another good, strong one - same vendor.
