struggling

I received my ecig kit yesterday, filled it etc and was very pleased, however today it seems like more of a novelty. I appreciate the nic hit in the car on the way to work...am getting used to tank filling. A bit frustrated with procedure however at the end of the day, there's just something unsatisfying about it. I am not digging the taste at all. I've tried paradise tropical blend, death by menthol and am now on another premium tobacco blend. I would of course like to switch to vaping instead of cigs because I do appreciate that I don't stink of smoke nor have to deal with ashes and butts and of course the loads of carcinogens however I just cannot seem to be satisfied with the vape. I am soooo hoping I just need to hit the right eliquid? Anyone else experience this?

Once you find a juice you love it's easy to set down the analogs. I bought a few tobacco juices when I started and I didn't really care for them, through trial and error I found I'm a citrus, fruit, or coffee type vaper.

It might also be the head you are using.

Can you provide some more info on what you're vaping (which e-liquids you've tried, and what your setup is?)

Vaping is different than smoking, it's not going to be exactly the same. But there are lots of ways to get a better vaping experience, and if you ask, the folks here will certainly give you all the information we can.

I agree the juice could be a problem...started with a tobacco blend recommended to me, then 3 days later had to change. Like Airik, I like the fruit and also the candy flavours. Some baked goods are good for shirt term vaping, very heavy IMO

For me, I wasn't able to fully switch until I found the right juice. I tried fruity, menthol, drink flavors etc. They tasted okay, but didn't give the satisfaction I was looking for. You also might need to try higher nic levels as well.

As of today it's been a full two weeks since I smoked, and I'm loving it.

thanks all. I'm using 18 mg of nic juice. I can tell the nic hits are good. it's the e-juice in general. I'm using an eroll. I sure hope it will all click with the right juice. I've just ordered about five different non tobacco e-juices, more towards the fruit blends. If these don't do it, I will get into desserts and coffees.

What device are you using? I had to get a VV device that was powerful enough to give that feeling when I inhaled the vapor.
Around here it's called "throat hit". I was a fairly heavy smoker but with 24mg juice and a device that put out over 4 volts, it was actually fairly easy to switch to vapeing.

The right juice is important, but so is giving your body the chance to adjust to something different. Like you said you don't have the carcinogens in stinkies, and your body got use to having them, even craves them. I bought my first e-cig on Jan. 11th but it took me two weeks to stop smoking completely and weeks after that before the cravings/unsatisfied feelings left me. Don't give up, let the vapor do it's thing, and if you fall of the horse, get back on again, it is soooo worth it.

I only use 12mg the odd time 15mg however I ordered a bunch of 24 and 18mg in the big big bottles for my husband from Mount Baker and Juice Mafia out of the U.S when those come in I can send you some samples if you like. I will. Really appreciate all the responses. I bought a pack of stinkos and am having them in between. I did have a moment of yuk after a stink hit but it went away with the next puff so I'm very hopeful that yuk can turn permanent. I sure hope that enhances when I hit the right flavour. Just put off because I researched soooo much and ordered the highest rated flavours and it's like sheet, if these don't satisfy nothing will. But I have to remember that each persons different. I'm also thinking about supplementing with turbo ez. I know it's possible to switch and enjoy. I just have to be easy on myself and realize that until I hit the right flavour it's ok to supplement with stinkos

Was thinking this too. My fear is that NO BLEND will satisfy but Im near Toronto and think your suggestion is very good

I ordered them because they were getting alot of fan fair from others and those two companies allow you to order extra shots of flavor which my husband likes and they were on your nic level.I have over 80 bottles of jucie in 12mg, but that is not going to help you. I just thought it would give you a chance to sample them at no cost.

For me it was Radiator Pluid. It's the strongest thing I've tried and it just pushed all the right buttons for me. Actually vaping it right now with the iTaste VV and T-Dux tank. (Make sure you don't put it in a plastic tank.)

Give WTA a try. I am on my fifth day on my third attempt with PVs. This time, I went for Aroma's WTA tobacco blends, and this stuff is amazing. It took the third day for my taste buds to get to the complexity of it, but I love the bitterness, the burning taste and the subtle notes I get from it. There is a missing gap compared to real cigarettes, but I'd rather vape, just for the flavor. Plus with the WTAs I don't miss much. Okay, I miss real cigarettes a little, but compared to the nasty taste that goes with it, I'd rather have the PV. This is different from most other people who prefer something sweet or candy like, but hey, I happen to be different - this is the flavor palette that makes me like the ecigs.

You've got plenty of great advice here - try WTA if you haven't, play with different strengths, and go to a local vapor shop to try out the different flavors. Oh, and avoid drinking for the first week - grabbing that cigarette after a drink doesn't help
