Yeah. It's why I use a bottom feeder. My "Hog" doesn't go dry. But back when I began, a couple of years ago, I started out with a cr8te. Used all prefilled carts. And when they went dry...bad bad taste of burning stuff. I then went to the Joye Ego. Great little starter unit. I still have mine and use it as backup. Hits good. But it's hard to drip and drive. 
Then the Mini Reo and now the Hog. The Hog, backwoods brew and...I'm good.
