This is very interesting.

I started a 18mg in a spinner/provari/cartotank/clearo. Then i got into rebuilding and kayfuns and ithaka and drippers ad the like. Immediately i had to drop to 12mg. Im still there, but tend to do just fine in 6mg too.

Well i ran out of my ADV, smoot criminal, so i filled a tank up with my coworkers. This was last week, and he had 18mg. I tried so hard to enjoy it but after only several puffs, i couldnt take anymore. Dumped the tank, harsh harsh throat hit.

The results of the study and my experience allows me to infer that once we are stable full ime vapers, our nicotine requirments are far lower? Remember those first few months when we all had frequent cravings?

To me those cravings were us weening our nicotine blood levels down slowly. Now a year later, and you couldnt even pay me to smoke a cig. So overall our bodies have adjustsd to needing lower plasma levels of nicotine over time, which is a good thing.

Based on this, if i were to stop cold turkey my 12mg/day 3-5ml/day habit that i would experience far less symptoms and discomfort than a smoker would. In fact it might not be really any symptoms except craving that hand to mouth/inhale habit.

Again these are ony theories, based solely on my anecdotal evidence. But to me it just proves tht vaping is even better than we thought. Not only can we get our nicotine satisfaction,
We can do it at a much lower dose than smoking, which will lead to fewer potential risks and problems relating to nicotine use.

For example some ppl have heart conditions that are sensitive to all stimulants. Isnt it great that a person with this issue can find satisfaction from nic without potential harm to their heart by using so much less nic than smoking?YES!!!

Thanks for reading

I also like 'lots' lol... ever heard the saying 'one is too many and a thousand is never enough?
I'm glad to see the study, thanks OP. I'd seen Dr. Farsalinos bring it up in an interview, but hadn't seen the study itself.

I too wish new vapers worried less about too much nicotine, and more about too little. Only your body alone can tell you each of these things, but it's understandably confusing at first.

I'm still using a moderate amount (20-24mg) in a Kayfun/dripper, two months smoke free, and don't feel any ill effects. I don't really foresee my body telling me to bump it down, unless I get into considerably higher-wattage vaping. But, time will tell! (While smoking, I also drank coffee at every waking moment; I just like "lots", I guess)

And believe it or not, we can vape 50mg. Someone on the forums vapes 50mg at 50+ watts. More power to him!
