My father is bi polar and was recently admitted to hospital. The staff nurse was genuinely confused when he declared he was a non smoker. She noticed my mod poking out my pocket, maybe she thought I was the patient? *shrug* To be fair, I think he was the only non smoker in there (psychiatric ward) - no vapers in sight (aside from me when I visited)

I've suffered depression in the past, I smoked, and I now vape. I don't really link the two to be fair.

Among the 10,041 people who responded to the survey, 27.8 percent of current smokers had self-reported mental health conditions

Mental disorders are common in the United States and internationally. An estimated 26.2 percent of Americans ages 18 and older — about one in four adults — suffer from a diagnosable mental disorder in a given year
