So I've been mainly a forum lurker for the last two weeks and made one post asking some questions. Place has been very helpful and a bank of knowledge.

My buddy on the west coast runs a shop spoke with him. He recommended a istick 30w and a nautilus mini. Also he started his own juice about 8 months ago. So he shipped me out a package with a istick and nautilus with a ton of his flavors so I can get started before I get to next week's cig budget.

Can't wait to test this stuff out with all the stories of the cough going away and all the other benefits of vaping. I just love smoking and I hope this is a better way to continue on.

Reason why I got really into looking into this mainly is because my father passed from lung cancer every man in my family hits there 50's and if they smoke cigs guaranteed lung cancer. So my goal is vape and work my way down to zero nice but be able to continue enjoying smoking vape.

I'll update once my kit shows up tomorrow!

Ya cancer is a horrible thing. He passed about 5 years ago. I had quit smoking for a year gained 100+ pounds..... Got frustrated went back to smoking lost little over 100 pounds in a year. So I'm just so addicted to the oral effect of smoking I'm hope this will help me curve some of that while being more healthy.

Welcome and I think you will like vaping. I did not think I would and did. I liked smoking and had not planned to quit. The wife unit got me a way overpriced cigalike starter kit. So after a few days of it sitting on my desk I tried it. Less than a week later I smoked my last cig. Ordered more batteries and such, had trouble with the artificial ingredients in the bought juice so started making my own. Still vaping and cig free after 3 months and feeling much better.
Cost wise at this point is a wash vs cigs. I blew $50 plus on ejuice I could not vape because of the ingredients. But I now have enough supplies to keep me vaping to a few months without buying anything so I am starting to save money.
I have also given away about 1/2 of my batteries and such to get my son and a friend off cigs, so the cost is not bad since I am getting 3 people off of cigs and still only spent my normal cig budget for the 1st 3 months.

Watch out for the shinyitis bug biting your .... :)

The habit was my downfall also. Every time I tried to quit smoking, I would gain. Vaping helps that habit so much. Side benefit to vaping, you can actually exercise and not get winded before getting through a whole routine!

I got lazy for a while and gained a few pounds but now I am back in shape because I am able to exercise. :)
