stupid clouds! No blood moon!

I got up at half-past dark this morning, JUST so I could go stare at the sky and see the blood moon... but there's too many clouds at the horizon, it's too close to moonset. Dang it all, same thing happened back in the 80s when I wanted to see Halley's Comet.

I guess no one else is fascinated by astronomical phenomena. I love being able to see when stuff is happening "out there," but so often, there are just too many clouds.
