Stupid question o' the day: iphone charger?

I only ask this because I'm a bit desperate

I left for vacation not thinking that my only ego charger is usb and I didn't bring my laptop with me. Would it be possible to just slap my iphone wall adapter on the ego charger to plug it in the wall? Or would this be a hotel room fire waiting to happen?

I'm not opposed to a small fire, if it yields at least a little vaping time

That is how I change mine. I use my iPhone's USB wall plug.

As USB has a standardized power output with rare exceptions they are totally interchangeable.

Personally I have a 4 port USB adapter plugged into the wall and have been charging the same 1000mAh eGo passthrou and regular eGo batteries for almost 2 years with no problems.

The only exception I have ever seen to the USB power standard is the adapter for my tablet that is listed as a fast charger. The voltage is the same but it outputs almost 4 times the amperage. I don't know if this could damage a battery or not but just to be safe I don't use that fast charge adapter for anything but the tablet it was intended for.
