Hi Mtek

We don't stitch the leathers on as we cannot guarantee how long it will last due to the stress out in the stitching with the grip. The bonding we use needs a specialist chemical to dissolve so it will stay on forever and the leather will age really nicely as it's no longer permeable.

I guess it would be the same if you dropped juice on your leather shoes, just a wipe down with a damp cloth. As with all natural leather it will age and gain a patina over time with use. We see this as a positive just like a beautiful old leather armchair
