Hey guys! Great forum! Very useful info on here I'm excited to be a part of it!

A little background on me, I've been a pack a day smoker for 8 years now. Marlboro Menthols to be exact. Lately I've been sick of being that smelly smoker and I've been noticing some issues with my health I can only attribute to my cigarette addiction (and probably my college diet ) I've tried to quit several times. Once cold turkey which made me super irritable and a complete mess, and a BUNCH of times on crappy drug store e-cigs which I hated.

This week I finally ordered a Halo Triton starter kit and haven't smoked a single cigarette since I got it yesterday. I'm currently vaping Halo's HX3 which I think is a great flavor to ween me off the taste of my Marlboro Menthols but I also have some Boba's Bounty on the way and a bottle of Halo's Midnight Apple and Seduce juice Snake Oil in my collection.

I can't believe how great the Ego systems work compared to the other ones I've tried. Although I still have a light craving for analogs this thing really takes the edge off and I think I really won't need to ever smoke an analog again (although I do find myself rummaging through my pockets at traffic lights every so often for my pack but that's just a force of habit!)

I'm already considering upgrading my current Halo battery to their VV version next time I order a new set of atomizers or tanks.

Anyway, just wanted to share my excitement about the fact that this stuff is really the bees knees. I think a couple more cigarette-free days and I won't even think about analogs every again!

Congrats on being smoke free and welcome to ECF!

I was a PAD smoker for 5 years and I didn't think anything was going to help me quit. Then I found the Ego and Protanks At first, the craving for analogs was still there for a few weeks, but it gets less and less powerful over time. Sounds like you are enjoying yourself, stick with it and you will be smoke free in no time

It really is. All the different tanks and batteries and flavors...so many toys to play with! Cigarettes are just plain boring in comparison(and unhealthy, of course)

I actually have a local shop that's a 5 minute drive from me called NJ Smoke in Milltown, NJ. Great place... lots of selection. I think I'm going to stick with Halo for hardware for a while but it's nice to know I can pick up juices really easily just a little drive from home.

If you're ever in the Central NJ area, NJ Smoke is a great place. The owner, Frank, is a very good guy and is definitely happy to help and recommend new flavors! They have a massive collection of Ego and Mod style vapes too. I wish I knew a goldmine like that existed next door before I started shopping online
