Sub ohm? Single coil? Dual coil?

so is the consensus single coil for above 1 ohm and dual coil for below 1 ohm?

That's pretty much what I do thedonnguyen .. 2 x 12 wraps on the same build above would have put me over 1.0 ohm.
0.8 is close and nice imo.

Having a dual coil cuts it to half the resistance. So 1 1 ohm coil add a second one will bring you down to .5 ohms. Most people going sub ohm are doing it for the vapor so dual is preferred over single so you have more wick/wire contact....but i could be wrong

10 wraps of 30 gauge Kanthal, not sure of the diameter... .9 ohms each. Amazing vape! The more you wrap the easier it gets to judge your target ohm. It was all trial and error for me and took me about a week to really dial it in. Just gotta keep at it!
