this may be a little off topic but does anyone know of an easy way to convert the sub tank to a top fill tank? the current design can only be filled to the top of the center post leaving some tank capacity unused.with a top fill the tank would hold more juice and would never have to be removed from the mod
There's an attachment you can buy on fasttech for that

The 5 pack of the new style RBA decks I got off of Ebay dont have any juice channels. Like all Kanger subtank RBA decks I would strongly recommend that the bottom pin of the RBA be tightened or there will be resistance variances. I usually put a small screw driver thru the airholes and give it a little tweak.
Just picked up a new subtank the rda hasn't had any issue wicking a 70 30 blend so may not have to mod it, which is good last time I tried moding something I effed it up

Are you talking about the original subtank? If so, I've got 2 of em and found them to be pretty finicky compared to the subtank plus and mini. Having only 4 or so ml per tank when using the rebuildable guy didn't help me like it either.
4 ml is a decent tank size IMHO. Build is a tad more challenging than Mini but the results are night and day if you're looking for flavor.
Righ now i developed my own style to build by leaving longer leads and crossing them using the opposite screw for the Subtank RBA and maybe takes me a few seconds more than a mini.

I still have my original kanger subtanks and use them very occasionally. The biggest problem I have with them is their size while still having only 4.5 ml. The rebuildable portion being a bit larger is pretty nice though. Dual coils are borderline impossible with the subtank mini.

The original subtank can be modified, if you get the plus base and the 'mini rba' piece for it, it works fine. much better airflow and a much nicer deck..you use the same top that would for the occ coil.... sweet-vapes has the parts. i have one of those, and a subtank mini..i drilled both my rba's, just small holes above the juice channels. i put twisted and clapton builds in them and enjoy them a lot. i also have a cthulhu and a zephyrus...i think cthulhu has the best flavor..subtanks are easiest to deal with and least trouble, i like the bottom fill cause you can work on your build without draining the tank. you can also get a new subtank plus for twenty bucks at vapenw

Not the tank itself there is an adaptor, I haven't looked it over not sure if kanger makes it

Here's the FT piece: Replacement Tank for SubTank Mini

Two small fill holes under the ring on the top cap, so you'd need a syringe or a needle-tip bottle. To me, that's a much bigger PITA than filling the wide open tank from the bottom. It would, however, solve the wasted tank volume issue. Some good reviews and some meh reviews on FT from those who have tried it. I could see using it if I know I'll have to refill the tank somewhere where I won't be able to wash my hands afterwards, since I can't seem to remove the base without getting juice all over my fingers. E-juice is like glitter to me - I seem to get a little on everything no matter how careful I try to be.

And no, it doesn't appear to be a Kanger product.

My subtank mini is what got me completely off cigs, I feel like I owe it to the tank to leave it as is....is that weird?

I still love my Lemo Drop! Retired my ST Mini (V.1) because I hated how it spit juice in my mouth. Also, it would touch my chin (highly annoying to me) unless I held it completely horizontal. And I totally prefer the LD for flavor, but that's probably subjective.
I skipped ahead to the Lemo 2 vapor beast has the for 22 bucks

I decided to skip V2 because I was ...... that they didn't address my only complaint about the V1.....not being able to re-wick without emptying the tank. I only vape one flavor (weird, I know), so I'm extremely attuned to the changes in flavor as the coil gunks up. I like to change it every 1-2 days...or soon as I notice a mild flavor change, and typically, there is still juice left in the tank. Keeping my fingers crossed for V3.....
