Sub-ohm upgrade for woodvil mini?

I just picked up a woodvil mini from the classifieds... should be here next week. I can't wait to get my hands on my first woodvil! I noticed the silver spring in the pics... is there a sub-ohm upgrade available for a woodvil mini? I checked the website and didn't see anything... so I thought I'd ask you guys. Thanks!

There are no sub-ohm upgrades just upgraded parts. The new beryllium copper with gold plating springs are listed on site. http://www.reosmods.com/index.php?page=shop.product_details&flypage=flypage.tpl&product_id=136&category_id=3&option=com_virtuemart&Itemid=9

The new contact that goes above the battery, is not in yet. They are on order last I heard.

The spring is soldered in the wood REO's. You can buy and replace or send it to reosmods for replacement.

Thanks for the info... I saw those springs but wondered if there was a whole "kit" available. Not a big deal... I can 1.5 ohm it for a while!

Since I'm getting it used, I might schedule a spa treatment with Rob anyway... I'll know more once it shows up next week.

I think you'll be more limited by the 14500 battery than the contacts. The AW IMR battery is rated at 4 amps, if you give yourself 20% headroom say 3.2 amps then lowest ohms would be about 1.3 @ 13 watts. That said when I had my OG Mini the new contacts helped immensely. Good luck and enjoy the new woodie, it's a beauty.

I'll probably just keep it as is... and run it at 1.5. I didn't think about the smaller batteries. I'll just grab my Grand when I feel the need to melt my throat!
