sub tank for mouth to lung?

I'd love to have a sub ohm tank I could do mouth to lung hits on,like the kanger mini,I now use aspire mini's and isticks..I can do,I think it called slipping,hits..My old abused lungs just don't like serious lung hits..Also I seem to get more flavor doing mouth to lung but from what I read the new kanger subs are super for flavor and vapor..Can you set the smaller hole about half way down and use a narrower drip tip?? or does that defeat the purpose of a sub tank? I'm down to nic lever 5 as it is now...Any advice from sub tank users, especially like the new kangers, mini or nano, thanks Bob

Yep the single hole works fine for a good mouth to lung. You can also turn the air flow control around to the big slot and then keep turning it till you choke off most of the space for a real restricted draw. I only do short 1 or 2 second pulls using the single hole on my Subtank mini and it works fine. That is the beauty of it. the ST is a very versatile atomizer.

ok my kanger tank and kanger mini arrived 3 weeks ago my mini will do a lung draw all day long better than the kanger sub tank the mini has better air flow ok I use wide open or second hole on first hole its just a little bit better than nautilus mini I do not use the occ heads I use the rba with 1.4 ohm single coil at 11.5 watts I chain vape use a verity of pg vg mixes the kanger mini gives better flavor than any tank I have tried easy to recotton witch was a big plus for me I bought 18 atomizer for my aspire mini in 2 months the occ for me gave dry hit on 4 second pull I get by far better flavor on the mini on short pulls and the tank as I call it I run my big tank on a unlimited box mod use a 1.1 single coil build and 1.4 on the mini Is really easy on my battery vape all day i have cut back on my nic I use 12%nic on mini and 5% on the big tank . The move over to kanger was the best thing I have done

I am relatively new to vaping and I am thoroughly enjoying my Nautilus Mini. I use the stock 1.8 ohm coils. I do mouth to lung hits on the second smallest air hole. I use 18 mg/ml 50/50 juice. I vape at around 7 "eleaf" watts on my iStick 20w.

I am looking to try a rebuildable. All the ones I have been reading about seem to cater to the sub ohm / lung hit crowd.

Do you guys think this will work for me?

When you first use the subtank mini, don't freak out...I had a hard time when I first tried it for mouth to lung...took me a few hours to get used to it, but it is easily the best tank I've ever used.

I'm using the 1.2ohm OCC and the mouth the lung hits give me asthma like crazy. And I start to cough like crazy. I hear the weezing when i breath. Only the lung hits have been working so far, but lung hits feel unnatural and the amount of vape is overwhelming. I'm disappointed with the subtank mini so far. I don't see how anyone is able to do mouth to lung. I'm using 80/20 VG/PG i've tried 12W - 24W and I'm starting to miss my ego one even though the flavor isn't that great, the mouth to lung is very satisfying.

I tried a friend's Kanger Sub Mini, and I still felt like it was a little too airy on the lowest setting. Also, I've been told that it's better for the device to do lung hits when sub-ohming, because a lot of air is required to keep it from getting too hot. I'm not a sub-ohmer, so I don't know how true that is. I've found that when I tighten up the airflow too much in my Aerotank or my Nautilus, they do indeed get hotter.

Apologies if this has already been mentioned but; you know you can restrict the airflow between the 1-hole and closed increments? Just use the control ring to partially restrict the single hole. You can draw while adjusting the ring to tailor your resistance. For me, it makes the Subtank a fine MTL device. The only downside it, depending on your coil-head and wicking, you may run into flooding.

I don't get how it could NOT suit any vaping style, really, if you have a Vw device especially.

You can alter the build, the airflow, and the power to exactly fine tune your sweet spot. Like someone else said you can spin the AFC to one half of a hole if you like it just won't lock.

I feel like anyone that thinks they don't "like the way it hits" are either being too impatient or they just don't want to like it.

I take warm, flavorful MTL stealth hits at work bathroom with it, then come home and take straight lung hits and blow clouds.

When I 1st got my Subtank Mini, it was Unvapable to Lung hit. Even at 6w at 1 Hole. But the Problem wasn't the Subtank. It was my e-Liquid.

Using my Standard 18mg 30%PG:70%VG DIY Mixes was Way Too Harsh.

So I did a Remix to 9mg 15%PG:85%VG and about Half the Flavoring/Sweetener. Also changed my Build to 1.5ohm 3.5mm coil with 28ga Kanthal A1. And filed the Slots in the RBA Head to be Slightly Larger.

I now hits Great @ 14watts for Lung Hits.
