My experience is that the STM is good to about 25W with the newer rba deck (with holes in the cylinder). If I want to go higher I drip. At 25W I find it very flavorful. I'm not convinced a tank can compete with a dripper at higher powers. Some may want to make wicking an art form, I don't

I just re-wicked the new rba, so here's a couple pics...
(I am not an expert, this is what works for me, and what I am enjoying)

The second pic shows (kinda) how at the hole, I have all fiber ends, and no "bent" fiber. The ends are thirsty!

What is the inner diameter of your coil? and how did you cut it so perfectly to the edge of the barrel?

@FOG clouds, pretty sure that was 3mm.
The wick was cut carefully? I don't know what to say. I have really nice pair of small Fiskars scissors, which helps.
