Subtank Mini Glass Stuck

I love my subtank minis but am having a problem with one of them. I wanted to change out the seals, but I cannot get the glass off! It will turn but not come off.

I have tried the dental floss trick and even put a tiny bit of vegetable oil in it. No go. I also tried putting a chopstick in the hole of the shaft and pulling on the glass but I am afraid to push too hard and bend it or something. My hubby tried with no luck either.

Any ideas?

Have you tried soaking in a cup of Hot water?
Twist/pull

Possible Freezer trick also.

Differing materials expand/contract at different rates.

Don't give up on the dental floss trick, it took me 5 try's to get my glass off.
