Open up the airflow just a bit. And silly as it might sound…don't draw so hard. You're right it's not a clearo. Sounds like you're over saturating the wick with your draw. Also check that this hasn't caused some to get down into the base reducing the efficiency of the 510 contact. That will cause over saturation too or make it worse. Dry it out.

I'm sure you'll find the new balance very rewarding. When you get it you'll see the Subtank is actually quite airy in it's performance and will strive for more density. That's when you should consider rebuilding that RBA section.

Best of luck. Enjoy the vape!

:)

Both flavor and the amount of vapor increase with most sub ohm tanks. You're in a new world of vaping my friend. Using an rda/dripper will increase this effect even more. You may find you need lower nicotine juice as time goes on. Great choice on a tank. If you have any issues with it, just ask.

I got used to direct lung inhales in about 2 days and run both with the airflow wide open

I adjust air flow almost daily for some unknown reason. My juice is great and I make it myself so it's always the same juice but it changes sometimes during my day. If I find myself wanting more flavor, I just lower the air until I can really taste the juice and then adjust to a higher flow. Some days this takes hours until I get to my happy place.

Hmm I've never really done that, but did just now. It does taste better with a little less airflow. But my tank does spit juice a bit, so I always get a strong taste cuz it's going into my mouth lol.

Thanks for all the suggestions, unfortunately I'm still having trouble. Even at max airflow, taking softer draws and bumping the wattage up the tank still leaks and spits like a PO'ed llama. When it's not leaking through the afc, I can look in the drip tip and see e liquid collecting. Very disappointed in this tank

Sorry to hear that. Hopefully you'll get it figured out; I have the same tank and it's one of my very favorites. Are you using the stock coils or the RBA? I've noticed that a lot of problems are related to wicking, which is why I ask.

Stock coils
1.2 ohm coil @ 18-20 watts this is the coil I've been messing with the past week
.5 ohm coil @ 16-20 watts used it for about a day, found it too hot for my liking, it leaked worse than the 1.2

Afc fully open started at minimum recommended watts and worked up
Checked all o rings/grommets on coils and tank

Haven't used the rda section much, only been fiddling with it. Not good at wicking so any problems with that is my fault, but I'm mainly referring to the prebuilt coils spitting and leaking.

I can say that 20 watts on the .5 coil was not high enough for me, but I was using the new vertical coils too.
The heat, It kinda comes with sub ohm.
Have never played with the 1.2 ohm coil. Could try the above suggestion.

I know this thread is a few months old, just wanted to do a quick update if anyone else has problems. After months of it sitting in my vape box, I started messing around with some unvape-able liquids I was never going to use. Seems the liquid was too thin for the horizontal coils or iffy coils idk. So I grabbed a couple VOCC and upped the VG from a 50-50 to 23-76 PG/VG (Charlie Noble line) working perfect. No spitting, no liquid in the mouth, none coming out the AFC.
