subtank mini

Hey guys. I just ordered a black subtank mini with the vertical occ. Its my first subtank. I currently drip exclusively. I am wondering if I need to wash it before I fill it and use it. Do they come with machine oil.. i know my rda's did. Also how long are you guys getting on a vocc or how many tanks. Preferably with 80/20 vg pg. Or max vg

generally a good practice to give em all a wash when you get em... not sure on coil life as i rotate tanks - and am using the new rba in some of them too

Even if I don't see machine oil, I always wash a new tank or RDA before I use it. I haven't used the stock OCC coils in a long time, I don't even remember how long they lasted. I build my own coils for it.

I wash everything really well, I've found pieces of metal and other stuff in them.

I have that version of the subtank. It was squeaky clean when I got it in my Subox kit. Still gave it a good cleaning before using it. Clean every atty before you use it for the first time. You never know what's in it.

I love my subtanks but I hate the coils I've never had a good expected with the kangertech stock coils

I usually get 2-3 weeks off of the .5 ohm coils vaping 20 to 30 watts

I only clean me me when changing the coil or changing the flavour, so it does not require a clean everyday

No it does not need cleaning every day. An initial cleaning to remove any manufacturing residue, dry, add 4 drops to inside of coil and a drop on each juice hole, screw to base, fill tank, put back together, let sit about 10 minutes. Close the airflow completely and take a couple of deep draws without firing. Open the airflow to the smallest hole. Now set your mod to 12 watts and try a few vapes, then gradually increase the wattage and open the airflow until you find your sweet spot. For me on the .5 ohm stock coil, that is around 25 watts airflow wide open. The 1.2 I believe are best around 12 -15 watts. Set the airflow as desired

After this, I just clean when I change the coil.
