Best set up for subtank rba with 90vg wire and wick?

I don't run 90vg but I do say that Japanese cotton has been the best wick for me and I heard running spaced coils gunks it up not as fast. Ymmv. Sorry I'm not much help

5 spaced wraps 3mm 26ga Kanthal, wick just BARELY touching the deck (on the original RBA with bottom juice holes), or just long enough to tuck/cover the larger juice holes but never packed tight (newer RBA with large side juice holes).

That's just my setup. I vape 80 to max VG all day long.
