ok so after a few days of studying and collecting all the various items i need, i finally set out to do my first RDA build today. i got the air holes in my igo-w drilled larger, wrapped my coils, set them in the connections, grabbed a fresh battery off my charger, popped my new build on my stingray clone, hit the fire button AND!!!...nothing...for some reason none of my tanks including my igo-w make connection with the top of my stingray clone accept for my nautilus. i put the nautilus on there and the thing vapes awesome, I've tried my RDA, and both of my iclear tanks and nothing happens when i press the fire button. I'm assuming its because they are not making contact with the floating pin up top. i made sure my firing button was screwed in all the way and tried to see if there was a way to screw in the floating pin on the top cap but there isn't. i have a feeling this is a lost cause and I'm just gonna have to wait until i can buy a new mod to start rebuilding which is extremely disappointing to me but does anyone have any tips or tricks i could try?

Here and there
Try taking the top cap off of your stingray and make screw your atty onto it. You should see the center pin moving if the atty is making contact with it. If the center pin isn't moving then you may have to get a different mod. My stingray works with all the drippers I have here but I don't have an igo-w to check it with. I hope this helps.

yea i tried doing that and the pin isn't moving so I'm guessing no contact is being made. i just don't understand how. like my nautilus works but 3 other tanks i own don't work? I'm so disappointed. thanks for your advice though

Circuit Board Spacer If nothing else works drop one of these into the 510 connection. It'll take up the gap but your rda might not sit flush.

do you know any other retailers of this product? i really don't want to have to spend 10 bucks to ship an .89 cent metal ring

Ryan - go over to Vape Dojo and they will help you.

haha is that where you go? i absolutely love the place and am in there at least 4 times a week. they drilled out air holes in my RDA today on the house. they are a prime example of a good vape shop. ill stop in and see if they can do anything for me

Wait, you never said anything about Floating pin location.

Is it fully flush against the Delrin insulator?
Is it protruding down a bit?

Just because you tightened the battery switch does not mean it moved the Battery and Pin into position. Some Pins ar every tignt when new and even though they are just pressed in place they may not want to move.

Remove cap - inspect pin.
If protruding, Tap sharply on counter to drive up.
Install Topper and it should contact before reaching flush.
Continue to tighten until flush.

You may have moved the pin further with :)the Nautilus than the other toppers will reach.

If this is the problem, continue this routine on changes until the pin starts floating(slipping) without assistance.
