I think I heard about this before... and it's pretty ......ed. You don't suck hard on a PV you suck slower and longer than a quick puff. Plus, you can't chain an ecig like you would an analog, unless you're dripping it needs time to wick up more juice (hence the lower production). Not to mention those all look like mall kiosk PVs to me...

BTW, better take bottles away from babies, apparently sucking is bad for you!

This was my initial thought as well, not only does it appear the intention of the test is to deliberately give e-cigs a bad name, but the quality of the products used in the tests appear to be the OTC styled junk. This could become a real issue - if junk product becomes widely available for use - it could become the standard by which e-cigarette technology is graded on. Hmmm....

I say we have some fun with this thread. After it get's ripe, I'll pdf and e-mail a copy to one of the profs I know at UCR.

UntamedRose gave me this link - don't know if it's been brought up before - if it has, apologies (I'm still learning how to find things around this wicked compendium of knowledge!)

This is just too funny, do these docs really have college degrees? I mean, c'mon ;-)

UCR professor studies electronic cigarettes - Riverside CA Inland Empire Southern California News

That said, this guy is 15 minutes away from where I vape - and, I know people, both students and staff at UCR, -- any hints?

Do a quick search of "Prue Talbot," and you'll find that her "research" has indeed been discussed here before. Here are just a few of the threads (and there are several):
