Sudden influx of Likes

I know I get a few likes from time to time, but from when I logged on this morning til I logged on now (about 2 hours time) I received 193 likes. It also looks like I gave a lot of likes out. From what I remember that amount doubled.

That seems excessive.

In the lower right corner of the comment box is the 'Like" button, it should be there anyway, if not I'd try signing out then back in.

Hmmm. I may be not be very clear here on what I'm trying to say. Those 193 likes that showed up happened in a matter of a couple of minutes today at 7:37 am and all of them were from Vapoor eyes er. Now my likes given jumped as well and I would hazard a guess that it was close to the same amount.

Now I can tell you that I was not on here at 7:37am clicking the like button madly for Vapoor eyes er and I'm sure that he would have a very impossible time clicking the like button on all those posts of mine that were scattered all over the forum.

I'm other words, I think something screwy happened. Has the forum hiccuped like that before and had a similar result in that kind of an odd occurrence?

Ok I think that should be clear now. This wasn't a "Wow!" thread, it was a "What the heck?" thread.

Don't know the answer for that Bostlabs - although ECF did do some kind of back-up/restructureing yesterday (Wendnesday) ; maybe that did it???

I'm not displeased with the result, but as an IT person who manages web servers at work, it would certainly make me want to dig in and find out if it could happen again.
