OMG - Mine just stopped working tonight as well - was working fine earlier - went out for a bit and when I came back - NOTHING. Thanks to Steve I have a second PT, but now I do not have one for my car =o(

Sorry to threadjack, but have you or others had luck using the car USB charger with a PT? I only ask because the car charger states it only provides 200mA, and I know the PTs like to be running at 1000mA.

I have been using a PT in my car with the newer (i think) charger unit - seems to work Ok, but not as well as when it is attached to my PC-USB port...

It was held in behind the button with something like silicone sealer.

When you got it from Steve, was it in a plastic bag? If yes, then it is a mis-marked 1000ma unit.

Steve had the manufacturer make the 1000ma so it would run the passthru, but they didn't update the sticker.

The second batch, is 1000 m/a but they put the wrong tag on it.....new ones coming have correct tag. Just check it out in car, it will work PERFECT

Just want to check if you tried putting a new Cart on it. Mine stopped working and i flipped out moving it from one usb to the next. I even let it sit for 10 min thinking it might have over heated. Then my wife walk up and put a new cart on it and started using it.

Yea I did that one too. From a brand new margarita to a new menthol, even some I'd filled up just to be sure. I went back and tested them on the battery. I think maybe it just fried itself out.
