I have an e-power. I like the battery life but still have the issue of constantly refilling cartos.

I've tried some fluxomizers and the sapphire from GV, but both of these give off a burnt plastic taste.

Here is what I would like in a tank or carto/tank/hybrid:

I want to be able to see inside so I know when to refill. I want refilling to be relatively easy. I want the system not to leak.

I've seen a number of tanks that look pretty good (and pretty expensive too). These have a cartomizer that goes inside them. Can anyone explain this to me? How does this work? Why would you have a cartomizer inside the tank?

The vapomatic liquinator from vaporescense is a fav right now-it uses a slotted boge carto inside the tank-
supposedly doesn't leak-
the cart being in the tank which can be filled with 3-5.5 mls liquid(depending on the tank)keeps it topped off so to speak-
got one heading to me in the mail right now-
no first hand experience

Doesn't flood at all. It's an autofeeding system so to speak. The liquid Enters the carto filling through a slit near the bottom. You have to see one in person to understand it perfectly. It doesn't flood because the liquid in suspense in the tank is never above the level of the carto center tube. It's like this: if you have a glass of water, put a straw in it. The water level inside the straw is about equal to the level of the water in the glass.

Hope that helps.

Can it be tilted and still be used?

Yes, I constantly have mine on it's side and it vapes great. The carto is fed through the slot or punched holes in the sides of the cartos...they are very close to the bottom cap so you use everything but a drop of juice. Plus your cartomizers last longer in these tanks. Every hit is like the first hit off a fresh new carto.
