Yes, Stingray-X. The photo looks like my clone too. There is a version without the X but I haven't used one. This version has a very nice button with magnets and a design similar to the Nemesis. The King mod is like a heavy duty version of the Chi You mod and is popular too.

The king V2 isnt like the V1 or the Chi You, but like the V1, its a beast.
The switch is much smoother and better designed than the Nemesis.
I have 3 Nemmys, one in each flavor. I like them but there are much better designs.
That rice pin is made by satan himself.

Only issue the brass HC Nem had was a pin about 1 mm too long. Ground it down and buffed the post (brass is easy to work with even by hand) and the button is flawless, tolerance compares with the authentic switch.

Even my cheapo's can be turned into something amazing. It was easy to add one shim across from the rice pin so I decided to add another one. Imagine a clock face. If the rice pin sits at 12 then the shims are at 4 and 8. After assembling the switch except for the rice pin and negative post screw I work the button so the up/down movement is smooth without binding then finish assembling.

Goodbye wobble is the result but the mod can stand unlocked with a Bellus tank in 18650 and still fire with my pinkie finger. For giggles I added magnets to one I upgraded - it might have a 2 mm throw that matches my upgraded Tesla Stingray-X. These Nemmys are the $8.xx orange aluminum tube version sold on FT.

My brass HCigar Nemesis and Atmomixani Nemesis are machined to tolerances that provide no room for shims nor do these buttons wobble much at all. Maybe I got lucky with three identical HCigar Nemesis clones from different vendors.

Just wait until the soft brass pin starts to warp and bind.
;)
I replaced mine with a hardened steel pin made from a precision drill bit.

Magnets in a nemmy are a love hate thing.
My brass Nemmy has magnets, copper and SS have springs.
SS has stock a replacement switch and is the best switch of the three by far.
The Knurled King switch, however, is flawless out of the box compared to the three Nems.

That is something I will watch out for. I think the rice pin would be the easiest part to make at home, the springs would be the 2nd easiest.

Do you know anyone who bought the brass King V3 18650 version on FT? It looks like the V2 in your link but the button comes with magnets for 27 cents more.

$16.20 King III Style Mechanical Mod - brass / brushed at FastTech - Worldwide Free Shipping

Its a misprint. Read reviews.
It doesnt have magnets, however you can buy magnets for it.

ALWAYS read the reviews and discussions before ordering any item from FT.

The Mech market is actually more diverse than newbies realise. Before you commit to buying a device, you need to think through what you are after.

Would recommend starting out with a clone, just in case you don't enjoy the device. Mechs are hands on devices, requiring regular maintenance and cleaning, knowledge of Ohm's law and battery safety. Once you understand these basic principles then owning a mech mod can be very rewarding, otherwise you are courting with danger at worst or lack lustre performance at best.

My preference is for a single solid copper tube mod, with recessed solid one piece copper switch and straight to battery 510, much like the Vaperz cloud X1, Limitless mod or the Kennedy Roundhouse.

This is great advice. If a product gets terrible ratings at FT, it is almost always crap unless they changed suppliers. On mods, they tend to add a new item # and call it something like Nemesis "D", "E", etc., so the chance of getting a great mod if it has universally bad reviews is slim to none IME.

The $5 Nemesis mods I just bought have no ratings and I have low expectations, plus I want the extra parts. :thumb:

Also the reviews tell you important info such as many copper mods being completely slathered in a heavy coat of clear coat, as an example. Total PITA to sand off, especially on the inside. A couple of the Lunars have this issue.... great mods, but get out the sandpaper if you buy one.

I agree, lots of good product information is available on FT. I read one review for a magnet model that said a spring version was shipped. Customer should have started a ticket, other reviews mention magnets for the various V3 King models. I think I like the other brass version for $16.58 better since the engraving looks deeper.

Keep in mind the authetic King knurled didnt come with magnets.
Buying a king "clone" with a magnetic switch is a different mod.
I personally dont like magnets in mods that werent designed with magnets in mind.
They never hit right and seem to always need fiddling.

I will post back here when it arrives. If it's too fiddly with magnets I will just put in a spring unless it ships with one installed already.

If you want some protection with a mech get the Kick to add, it works with Nemesis. I bought several Nemesis clones and several Kicks to use with them. I gives you short protection.
I don't bother, but I only run my batteries from 4.2-3.8v and my coils no less than 0.4ohms.

Extremely safe unless I do something extremely stupid. :)

No kick for me either. If an 18650 settles in at approximately 3.7v for the longest part of a useful charge, I will aim for a target using that number less .2 for volt drop across the mod and atty.

A .6 to .8 ohm build gives 15 to 20 watts vape without much stress on the battery.

My King 1 and II should be landing soon from FT, but I ordered one of these too. Worst case, Craigslist Toronto will be a clone mod paradise soon!
Cool Then! We can compare notes. I chose North Korea Post shipping, I hope customs is gentle...

Any REO Squonk Box would be great IMHO. A Mech Mod with an RDA mounted on top that you don't have to carry around a bottle to fill. And oh yea all of the flavor advantages of the RDA, Nothing to break as usual with a Mech Mod
I've no idea where this misconception came from. There are tons of atomizers you can put on a mech besides drippers! RTA's, replaceable coil tanks, even carto tanks, not every mech user runs a dripper! I've got Genesis atties, different Kayfuns, carto tanks, I've used Aspire Nautulis and Atlantis tanks as well. There are lots of OTHER options for large storage besides a REO, not that they are bad, but there are other options.
I don't use kicks either, know your build, know your battery and there's no need for one.
I also learned a hard lesson on magnets a while back. I got a set for my Hades clone because I was tired of having to set the lock every time I set the heavy pig down! The magnets worked great for that, BUT I tend to be in dirty environments. First time I set it down on my welding table the springs went right back in it! Took me over three hours to get all the metal shavings off of it! Just something to keep in mind when considering that option.

Interesting, see I'm going to make the switch buttons electromagnetic so until I push the button no magnets...

I am not really doing this, but would it be Possible?
Don't think so, as the repulsion of the same pole on the two magnets is what keeps the circuit open.
