On a recent trip ran out of cigars, stopped in a vape shop and walked out with a private branded ego of some design, probably a ce4 variant and 900 battery based on length. seems good quality, puff counter and battery life on battery. 5 click on off. clearomizer with long wicks, charger with lights to show green connection etc...
I'm not trying to replace flavor of cigar, in fact tried some sweet flavors and I'm using the 0 nic, because despite chain smoking cigars, never felt addicted, just used to kill time while driving long distances or staying at hotels on business. the ego almost fulfills my desire to kill time when sitting somewhere watching a game or tv etc. it falls a little short. The amount of vape is fine (i'm not inhaling), but the heat and flavor on my tongue are low, so the draw into the mouth does not replace the cigar experience... I blow out the vape slowly and inhale it by sniffing it through nose. that has replaced the fun of smoking a cigar which is all about the draw, heat and flavor on the mouth. I think smelling the vape after the blow out is the most enjoyable aspect of vaping? Thoughts on that? Am I doing something wrong here? In fact I think I am "inhaling" more fumes now through my nose than I ever did with cigar, though anti smokers and vapers would probably disagree... anyway, I hope this substitute is in fact "healthier"...
I'm ok with the second hand sniff experience being a substitute when sitting somewhere but then comes my main use... while driving this just doesn't cut it. I just ordered a disposable ecigar with a chewable tip, but they only have a couple flavors, mostly tobacco. Also I ordered a rechargeable cigar but that also comes with disposable cartos with only a few flavors. My hope is they both deliver more of a cigar experience, holding in the mouth, chewable tip, hotter harder draw with more flavor etc.
My question is, for home use, I was thinking of trying the ego cc with a bigger tank, what would you recommend for a hotter harder more flavorable draw on the mouth, like a cigar... anything? again, don't care about the actual flavor, I can find a sweet juice I like, I'm just looking for overwhelming flavor in the vape on the draw to substitute a cigar draw.
