actually I was one of those who thot yr suggestion in e other thread for a newbie thread/area is good.. but after seeing this up n going back to the newbie FAQ n sticky to read again.. I think it would just be ALOT more work for whoever agrees to do it n benefits would be very minimal..
it'd be easier for us to PM e mods if we think we have something to add to the newbie FAQ n have them add it there..
if a new member comes along n doesn't bother to look at those b4 posting stuff.. den he/she deserves whatever flaming or carrot chop knife is coming..
sorry for pouring cold water.. =P
No worries bro!
Any form of inputs here only serves to improve/organize what we have now.
I'm inclined to agree with your viewpoint actually; it is indeed much easier for us to be the whistleblower in this case.
"Let 'em learn how to swim; throw 'em straight into the deep."
Sometimes it's just kinda harsh, not to mention "Hostile" for newbs.
Having your 1st post deleted for an honest mistake sucks. I'm sure most would agree in this.
Which is why I brought this thread up, perhaps we can have a 'Nursery Area' for newbs in SG Vapers to familiarize themselves with the posting rules and how we work here.
@Curry: The member's small profile just ain't enough for the newbs to really understand how it's like to be posting here...
In any case, like I say, any constructive is much welcomed here.
Let's make this a better community, Vapers.
