I'd like to make the switch to vaping sooner rather than later, but I tend to over-think things and have been hesitant. I had posted a few days ago expressing my interest in the Halo Triton and got some much appreciated feedback.

I've done some more research and have decided that I still want to purchase the Triton, but now my issue is e Liquid.

I smoke about a pack of stinkies a day and have read that although i'm looking for a tobacco replacement, I might quickly out-grow the tobacco flavors. I think what would help is if I could get some suggestions on some nice sample packs I could pick up to get my feet wet until i begin to develop some preferences.

As always, the feedback here is much appreciated!

Flavor is VERY subjective. When I started, I also prepared. I got a couple bottles of 24mg and a couple in 18mg. I had to get the confidence that vaping would cover my urges.

Yes, stay with the samplers. I find only about 1 in 10 as being a return buyer.

Maybe search for "e-liquid e-juice sampler". See what comes up.

Hope helps

I completely agree with Frenchfry. If you have a vape shop nearby, go sit at the tasting bar and see what tickles your fancy. You might also find that as you smoke fewer and fewer regular cigarettes, your taste will change, and what you like early on may not be what you like down the road. Samples are a great way to go. I smoked menthol (Camel Crush Blues) and really don't care for tobacco-flavored juices. I also find that the desserts and fruits I vape help curb my munchies - with my VV3 and Cinnamon Irish Swirl in a tank, I don't need to get up and raid the refrigerator all that often.

Happy Hunting!

Did you smoke menthol or reg cigs?

When I first started, I began with tobacco flavors to bridge the gap, but quickly switched to vanilla/coffee blends after some sampling.

Today, I don't care for the tobacco flavors at all. Of course, everyone's taste buds varies, so what may satisfy one person may not another. There are many flavors to choose from, so experiment.

I use 3 varieties of e-juice, so that I don't grow tired of one flavor.

Well if you are going to buy from halo, you can try their tobacco sample pack. Tribeca is the first liquid I tried when I started vaping, and it's amazing. Also Torque56 and Turkish tobacco are my favorites too, I still can't find any other tobacco juice that taste like any of these.

I want to add that You will not find any liquid that will give you the same tobacco burning taste, but soon you will find those flavors are way more delicious.

I've heard nice things about halo's liquids. i've heard voodoo is quite delish in addition to most in the tobacco sample pack

Halo itself is a great place to start. They have a couple options for sampler packs that you can try. Another one that I like is Seduce Juice. They have mainly fruit blends that are delish, and one of the most customizable sampler packs you can find. Mtbakervapor is also a great choice with a huge selection and some of the best prices on the web. They only downside is that you should let their juices steep for a bit before vaping, so if you order from them, order elsewhere too. The absolute best thing though, is to find a store front vape shop. They'll usually let you try before you buy.
