Have ordered a Vapefly Galaxie mtl and am concerned that new tanks fire at low ohms.
I have Aspire Zelos 50w and istick TC 40w Will they fire up the Galaxie or is it time for me to buy new Mods? (UK)

Usually MTL tanks are used at high ohms, not low ohms. Did you get it reversed?

Regardless, both mods should be fine unless you want to use more than 40-50W (their max). For reference, I usually vape at 8-12W with MTL RTAs.

I started with the Zelos, and it still works fine- I'm usually in the 0.58 ohm area. I've used an iStick in the same range. If the Galaxies doesn't do it for you, give the True MTL tank a try - best mtl tank I've found by far! I have a really old Aspire MVP mod that won't fire under 1.0 ohm. But it's not unsafe - just won't fire.

I'm sure you're fine...unless you're looking for an excuse to buy a new mod. I absolutely love the way my Nugget X hits, and its tiny size/ big power, but they're getting harder to find.

I don't have the Galaxies, but have found that with mtl tanks, 2mm id at about 7 wraps with 316L SS is perfect. Even one more or less wrap just doesn't replace the cigs as well.
