Summer is coming! (next week, if you live where I do)

I started vaping last October so haven't given any thought to getting juices shipped during hot weather until just now when I opened a package and the glass bottle was hot to the touch. So are there any detriments to juice from heat? This is coming from someone who had to endure NINETY DAYS of 100+ temps last year. Just writing that makes me curdle.

I found a similar post from last year and no one seemed to be concerned about the effect on juice, but thought I would bring it up again.

I envy you. I think we had three 100+ temps last year. I know some juices change color when exposed to higher temperatures. Although extreme heat will likely lower the quality of juice, IMO the antibacterial and antifungal effects of propylene glycol would limit any potential health issues.

I am so jealous... even mild PA/MD is too cold for me.

I can tell you that I will be glad to be rid of the negative effects of cold on the liquid... even high-PG don't flow so well in the tank at anything below 40 degrees.

No problem with delivery. They are usually packed very well. I simply let them cool off in the house for a while.

After mixing, many DIYers will heat the joose to 'accelerate' steeping.
