I’m new to the suorin and it won’t fire and I was told to clean it and I did but it is still not firing, my friend told me the battery wasn’t connected and that I need a battery reset? Does anyone have a solution? Can’t really afford to buy a new suorin.

Did you purchase it new? If so, it will still be under warranty.

A friend gave t to me, not sure if it was new or not.
If it isn’t firing you should either be getting blank screen or some kind of error return such as a short or no atomizer detected. Which if any of these are you experiencing?
Which sourin? The drop? The air ? If it's the drop, push the pod in tighter. Also, make sure it's charged
I don't own that setup so I can't be of much use to you. I would watch a tutorial on youtube on your device. I do that with every new vape I get, some user manuals are, uh, less than helpful.
But, your friend gave you the setup? Do you have access to him now? He might be able to help you work with it better it could be the mod, it could also be user error.

There are too many reasons and causes of a vape failing to fire without physically examining it.
Could contact:
local B&M Vape Shop (Visit) or see friend -----Might be simple.
