Hi all,
I'll start out by simply thanking all of you. Because of you I have gone from various eGo and Riva style devices, (completely avoiding the mall brands as my first e-cig!) to making my own 18650 altoid's mods. Which when paired with a no bridge type LR 306 atty seems to be really darn near to the perfect vape for me. I started vaping on 5-3-11, and quit cigs cold turkey using a riva, and I started reading ecf two or three weeks before that, and I've been glued to it ever since. And zero analog cigs smoked in all this time (just a couple puffs to confirm that I really hated them, and it was gross.) I started getting all organic VG juice after a couple months, then started making my own liquid about four months ago, and I love it so much more than anything else, though I do still enjoy boba's bounty and virgin vapors kona coffee occasionally.

I figured it would be good for me to finally start posting because my friends are getting sick of me talking to them about this stuff so much. And here is the best part, the reason that I have not had to post anything for all ten months of my vaping is that all the answers I needed were already answered and I just had to find the posts. I think I actually have something to say now, as well as some questions also of course. I'm super into making mods at the moment, haven't soldered this much since middle school lol. The next project will be atty diy... I just got my 3 sizes of nichrome and ss mesh... Much reading will still be necessary before I attempt anything...
I have converterted about half of my friends who smoke, but only half. The ones who still smoke will thank me for venting my ideas here and not at them.

Anyway, I'll stop rambling now.

See ya around.

Glad you finally started talking DD. I am sure that you have a wealth of info to share with others about your journey so far. Looking forward to seeing your hardware. My hubby and I started out with cig size/shape devices but now are enjoying box mods that he built. Tube mods are on the drawing board now but since these work so well I am in no hurry. Happy Vaping.

Thanks all!

I had been planning on doing a copper mod as my first mod, and I still might. But if I do now I'll make sure to have adequate vent area, what with all the battery stuff recently. I know my altoid's style box mods won't turn into a pipe bomb if the battery fails...

I just wanted to share a silly realization I had.

This is my 101st post, and so far ALL my activity on ecf has been done via my "smart" phone... A droid X2. It works well, but some things, like posting pics, is rather tedious... The interwebs should be back up at my place soon though, so I'll finally be able to use my laptop for this without bringing it to a coffee shop, which I'm surprised I haven't done yet.

Anyway, happy vaping :)
