Hi all,
I've a relatively simple question here: which (lightweight) mini/super mini puts out the most vapor?
I've been using a 510 for a week or so and i'm NOT happy because it's way too bulky for me. I need something that i could comfortably hold while driving; something i could stick behind my ear and it wouldn't fall down due to the gravity; something i could love and adore for its FEEL!
I've been looking at the M401/2/3 (all of them being slimmer and less heavy than the 510, plus they have a cool design) - but my question is: how does it compare to the other lightweight mini's, vapor-wise?
(The reason i'm looking for the best possible vapor is that a feeling of fullness in the lungs is generally more important to me than getting some pain at the back of my throat (as you would if you simply added nicotine).)
Also, in my search i came across this video on youtube where rustylug shows you how to add more vapor to the RN-4081 by covering a hole on the cart/atty while inhaling :) YouTube - Electronic Cigarette super Mini, Hints On Getting More Vapour I'm just wondering if this actually works?

Any comments or suggestions from you all will be very much appreciated. Thanks!!!

Note - for additional info: battery life in itself is not an issue for me, and neither are the small/tiny cartridges...

It works, covering the hole. That rn4081 does give good vapour for a super mini, but I found that the auto batts were horrible, always cutting off, flooding the atty and juice in the mouth. You can't get a good draw. However some people report that they get great results with a manual. I wouldn't doubt it. The vapour produced when working properly on mine with the auto, was actually pretty good. The other super minis I have tried did not come close.

You might look into the 306a, which uses 510 parts, but is smaller. You'd have extra parts then, and could mix and match. The 306a uses a different atty and batt but they are interchangeable, so you apparently can get the best of both worlds. I have not tried this, but am happy with my other joye products, the 510 and ego/tornado.

m402 and m403 with VG liquids produce a satisfying amount of vapor and are not 'big' feeling at all. The m401 feels a bit "too long" compared to an analog. I'm not sure how they compare to other models as the m40x model is the only one I've used.

Personally I like the smaller batts with auto switches and the longer batt with the manual switch. Since the 401 feels "too big" to be an analog, the manual switch doesn't feel so strange to use compared to the manual switch on a 402. Also batt life on the 402 manual isn't as good as batt life on the 402 auto.

I second the M401! Its the same width as an analog and slightly longer than a 100. It was my first Pv :::sigh::: brings back happy memories.
Id recommend getting a manual ONLY because the auto batt tends to trigger at the slightest disturbance. i.e. driving with music too loud, A/c vent directed at you. Also, the manuals have a longer cut-oof (if they have one). check out truesmoker and pick up a dragon. both my original batts still work from last sep (and they look slick) :) i think they have new colors out for them too.
Id also suggest mixing spme VG with ur juice for more vapor. the hit on the 401 tends to be a little more "airy" then the 510 but the VG should thicken it up some. hope this helps

Where else can you get a good super mini?? I am looking for one for my mother and I was looking into the dragon, but there is no way she is going to use something that has a dragon on it? or has any color to it at all for that matter. She just wants a plane pure white super mini with a red/orange LED light. Any suggestions are much appreciated.

litecigusa.net has a kit with one batt of each size in it which is a good deal i think (when in stock)

There are lots of vendors, not at all a complete list...

* litecigusa.net
* electronic-cigz.com
* mypvshop.com
* absolutelyecigs.com (china retail outlet, more expensive shipping)

Another mini model to consider is the M601/2, i think it may produce more vapor than the M40x (haven't tried it myself).

The M602 is slightly larger in diameter compared to the M401/2/3. This model has a larger working battery and atomiser and can yield very satisfying results. This model is suited for those who would like more power from the M401/2/3 and do not mind a slightly larger model.

I started off with the Volcano, it's very close to an anolog in size and puts out decent vapor. Their priced very reasonable and you can use 510's withthem if you want. The only downfall with them was the battery would only last 1/2hr of constant vaping. The PCC will chare up to 4x.

Yes it is simillar to the Blu.

YAY, i wasn't expecting so many replies so soon, you're truly awesome :)

The joy306 has really amazing flavor production. It gets my vote.

thanks jaybones and bigb - i've never heard of such a model, will look it up!
jaybones, what were the "other super minis", if you remember? :)

i'm thinking it's then probably about the same size as 510? :cry: no?

I also had an m403 battery for the 401 attys, this made the overall unit almost the same size as a marlboro red

2 questions: can you get manual batteries for all sizes (401, 402, 403)? and, battery life aside, do they all perform the same?

check out truesmoker and pick up a dragon. both my original batts still work from last sep (and they look slick) :) i think they have new colors out for them too.
yeah... well, i would prefer wood grain or silver - which are rather hard to find i must say.

makes sense to me... the thing about VG though - isn't it supposed to be even sweeter than PG? (i have a bit of an issue with sweetness! :-x)

and finally, what about the KR-808 itself?

and, what's the verdict rn4081 vs m40x?

thx... :thumbs:

edit: missed brad's post - will check that out as well.

I find 10%-20% VG added to PG liquid gives good extra vapor without a very different taste, you can add it yourself or if you order from tastyvapor or other custom vendors you can request it.

I really like my Intellicig Evo (for its size) it is the same size as a 400-series but has much longer lasting batteries and IMHO better vapor production.

The others aren't even worth mentioning, and I have no idea of model number. Both were overpriced and died within days and have since been disposed of. I kinda wish I had saved them to make mods from. None have been mentioned in the forums, so I wouldn't worry about coming across them as you are doing your research here. One was from cleansmoke, one of those scam websites which sends a free one then bills for monthly supplies (ten whole tiny carts). The other was a cheap chinese no name model.

I'm enjoying the Modern Vapor Sidesho; with the Blue Foam mod, it packs a punch for a little guy.

Battery life OK (I go through about 3 a day with heavy vaping on my 30 minute commute, 4 on weekends with errands).

Unfortunate downside is lack of compatibility with other devices (except the Modern Vapor 902).

The really cool part is that it comes with a plethora of color options, but sometimes you have to sacrifice a little comfort for style, ya know?
