I use the steamer of my Pasquini Livia coffee machine, works great.
Can I soak the adapter in the powder with water mix that I use for cleaning the coffee machine parts? (I think that it contains baking soda)

I'm amazed that someone else here has a Pasquini Livia. They're great machines; small chassis with the guts from a restaurant machine. My Livia 90 has been going strong for over ten years with minimal service. I think of my Super Six purchase like my Livia and my Dulit toaster. buy something right, buy it once. I design and market products for those with this philosophy too.
By powder, do you mean Puro Caff? <http://www.purocaff.com/p20info.htm> Its to use instead of vinegar which leads me to believe it may also be acidic I think it likely would be good for cleaning atomizers but haven't tried it yet. With aluminum, my only concern would be if it could etch and possibly deepen oxidation. Try a low concentration in an ultrasonic jewelery cleaner?

Great machine indeed .I have it for 6 years with no problems. It is on 17 hours a day.
For cleaning , I use "Puly caff polvere" . I never clean my atomizers, I replace them every month or so. I think that it is possible to use it for cleaning the adpter becuse of the grooves and thread, but we need the OK on that from David.
I was thinking maybe along with Kona, that it may be a little harsh, but i honestly dont know as i've never tried it. I do know dishsoap and a toothbrush work wonders on cleaning the super t!
