So I ordered a 510 wetbox the other day and just received it. It's a pretty sleek device. I was really excited to use it and put in the 3ml bottle of strawberry cheesecake. Anyways, as soon as i drag, like just barely begin to, really hot vapor comes out, pretty much almost burning my tongue it feels like (or its the flavor on my tongue?) I can't get anywhere near fully dragging and it's definitely a pain. and very uncomfortable. Is that how the wetbox is supposed to be? or is it the flavor type? etc? I'm using a 3.7v battery.

Contact your vendor, they'll have you contact Missy to get it fixed. I had an issue w/ mine and that what happened.

If you don't mind back-tracking a bit, are you using an atty or a carto? And did you make sure to pump the bottle a few times before you started? Can you see juice dripping out of the needle when you pump it?
I don't think the instructions tell you to do this, but I start with a filled carto when it's new. That gives the carto a chance to break in. Might be worth a try.
I mean I fill the carto with liquid before I put in on the WetBox. Is this your first carto? They do need a breaking-in period, just like atomizers...
An empty cartomizer will need a LOT more than 4 or 5 drops before it's usable. You should start with a full carto. The one you used with a few drops may never taste right.
I don't know of any defect in the box itself that could cause that. The 14500 battery is only going to put out so much, the rest is up to the carto. I'd contact the seller and tell them what's happening. Maybe they can help.

Are you using the cartomizer that came with the kit or something else? The carto that comes with it is from 3.0 - 3.4 ohms and tends to run cooler than what I normally use on a 3.7v mod - regular 510 atty or LR cartos. I know that you can't use LR cartos with the wetbox (there should have been a warning regarding that at the vendor) because the switch isn't rated for that, so I'm a bit surprised, if you're using the carto that came with the kit, that you're getting that hot of ejuice/vapor.
I top fill the carto at first but then everything is bottom fed, so it's not like a regular top refilled carto where the juice is sitting closer to your mouth. Something must be wrong and if so, if you're dealing with Missy directly (or Bruce) any repair should be free of charge as long as it was something about the unit itself. I suppose thin ejuice could possibly be a problem - like some JC stuff. I use VG based DV ejuices.
yea I think It's something wrongwith the carto. I'm using the one that came with it (its the only carto I have. ) so I emailed missy so I guess I'll wait and find out.
You're going to need more cartos anyway so why not go ahead and order some?
I just got mine today, too. The carto is super hot, almost burning my lips. The vapor is not very good. I have pumped and pumped and get a couple of hits that are hot then it fades back. How do you fill the carto from the top? This is my first one. I'm using the carto that came in the kit.
