I have had constant vapers sinuses (aka vapers tongue, vapers fatigue) for 5 months. The lack of taste is primarily due to the sinuses. Much like a cold. If you can't smell it you can't taste it.
I rotate between 6 flavors throughout the day. These are butterscotch, cinnamon roll, licorice, clove, creme de menthe and unflavored with a drop of flavoring. Try some single fruit flavors as they can be tasted. Custards, most creams and vanilla either cannot be tasted or taste terrible. I do not vape tobacco flavors but if it is strong it may work.
Creme de menthe and peppermint (probably any mint flavor) help to loosen the sinuses. It works better some days than others. While in the shower rinse your sinuses with saline solution (no preservatives). Benadryl and decongestants may help, Afrin nose drops (doesn't dry the nasal passages) are worth trying. It is trial and error to determine which to take and when. Gargling with Scope mint mouthwash may help. It is the mint and alcohol that can open the sinuses somewhat.
Some flavor brands are stronger than others. There are several Vape Wild flavors that I can taste but do not like (personal preference). These are peanut butter cup, sweet complexity, tiramisu, the fruity cereals, nut flavors, and root beer. Read the flavor profiles on the Vape Wild site. These may be flavors that work for you.
