Supercharge your Nautilus for "Full on Flavor" and thicker Vaper!

Greetings all.
For those of you who use the nautilus, here's a little trick that will have your nautilus keeping up with, and maybe even outperforming the Kayfun/Russian mods in both flavor 'and' vapor production. It's easy. You simply need to modify the coil head by removing that white fabric liner surrounding the inside of the head. Don't mess with the insulator inside the coil chamber itself, (can't easily see that one, anyway, except for when rebuilding), only remove that white liner that you can readily see when looking inside the head. Bend a paper clip, or wire into a small hook and fish that sucker outta there. That's all there is to it! Flavor will go through the roof and vapor production will follow suit. I've had no issues with flooding since doing this. I'd say that my e-juice is probably medium in thickness. Not real runny, nor like molasses, either. I'm currently on day two of this modification, using a stock 1.6 ohm coil... and so far it's been working "GREAT!"

I would think by removing that liner, which also helps wick the juice, it would lessen the life of the head because the inside wicking material will be doing all the work now.

How long do you use your heads for, on avg? without any modifications to it. 2nd question! is there like a Naut owners subforums? i did a search but no luck.

Id like to see how this works in the long run. I'd like to give it a try but would hate to ruin an expensive coil.

Just tried it out but i got massive flooding afterwards.. Can we get a pic of the exact piece to be removed, just for clarity.

i really need to tweak some more flavour out of this tank. the coils are the only downside to it right now

I wonder if you could drill out two of the holes in the atomizer and stick a stainless steel mesh wick through the holes and a coil in the inside. Wouldn't that give very good wicking?

i think i figured out the issue with the NAUT, its the coils heads for sure, 40% mnfg fail rate apparently!
