There are plenty of places that offer the Ego but I don't know the prices on them.

I look at it this way, no matter how good the price is, if it doesn't work it's not worth anything. If a battery is DOA, are you going to be happy with 1 battery for an ecig? I know I wouldn't be. Now you have to buy another battery. What is the price of that? Is it still that great of a deal if you have to fight for customer service and then end up having to buy another battery so it is a proper working ecig?

Gotta put in my 2 pennies here guys :)
Just so ya know, the 7.5% partnership codes won't work with sale items, they make ya pick one or the other.
And the warranty issues are for the multi-pack batteries/atties. The Tornado kits come with 28 days warranties. I bout my Tornado from TW and it was just fine, and I post on their forum alot and have found if you post in the forum you get answers alot faster. I dunno... just my opinion :D

Sorry, but I'm not going to do business with a company that blackmails me into posting on their forum. Good customer service is the right of everyone that buys from you. I know the DOA issue is for multipacks, but why would you have no DOA warranty unless you knew you were handing out crap to begin with. If you say sorry but I'm not going to cover that because you are buying 5 of them at one time, that throws up a huge red flag to me. And they have had more CS issues than just the DOA multipack thing. I'm really glad that you haven't had any problems with them. But their business practice scares the crap out of me and I would rather pay a little extra and be sure I'm going to have good customer service without having to post in their forum.

A good business is not defined by not having any problems. A good business id defined by how they handle the problems.

Ok, I won't say any more on this and the regularly scheduled program may continue.

well, since this is for deals and steals .... if part of your order is doa without recourse than it is not a "deal" anymore. doa should be covered no matter the sales price. i'm very new to vaping with just 2 hardware orders so far, and my second one was for multipacks of batteries and attys. my one and only manual battery in that second order stopped working after a week due a stuck switch but randall from mypvshop.com mailed a replacement today. bad enough i had to mail the bad battery back, i can only imagine what i would have felt like if i were told "tough luck". jules is right, customer service is the most important aspect of a company.

Actually I found it odd that with the eGo/Tornado being so popular they would put it on sale. Maybe you guys are right and it's catching up with them. We do have a big voice here and probably have the power to negatively affect a company's business if they deserve it and it sounds like they do.

Now I wish I could go back and think about it before I posted the link. Retrospectively, I wouldn't have done it. Sorry guys and Jules please feel free to delete the posts. :)

Heres my experience with TW. There is a giant thread on it. They are trying to shut me up by sending me a batt and an atty. TW

Not trying to rain on the parade but I have to remind people of the customer service issues that TW are having right now and of the fee for sales that are out of the country even though you are buying from the store in Florida. It is a great price, just be careful

So get your original order, take the free batt n atty..and dont sign a release form :)
Nothing says you have to be quiet about it...personally I rant about Vapure aka liberty flights (I've seen there office myself DO NOT order their liquids its not safe)

But I also think most folks know all the issues going on with TW, also think if they are given enough hell they will shape up..or go under new management. They are pretty big company, I really doubt the main branch/UK wants to lose the american market.

Believe me im going to take the free stuff. I might make another order with them but if they mess it up again im publicly slandering them left and right. I want them to learn how to conduct a respectable business ASAP. And this forum really does have alot of power. I posted that thread and 3-4 days after i had a TW rep asking what they could do to make up for them f'ing up.

Thank you for letting us know about them. I almost bought from them last night. I helped my bother and sis in law get started vaping this week and they really want to stick to the tobacco flavors. My favorite suppliers only carry one tobacco flavor and Liberty Flights carries bunches. That's why I was looking and I guess I'll keep looking.

I appreciate everyone sharing their experiences with any company, whether good or bad. I would like to point out (not in defense of TW or any supplier in particular) that it can be a gamble with any supplier. Some of you are down on TW and saying it isn't a deal if you don't get your items or good service but some of us (myself included) ordered on the co-op on this site. That is a gamble and if the shipment is confiscated, we have no recourse. So we might lose money and be unhappy about it but am I going to slam Jules for offering the deal or the China supplier that took the order? Noooo

So, my point is that as consumers we do our homework and weigh the pros/cons before deciding if something is a 'good deal' or not. I just don't like to see implications that others are wrong for posting what they perceive to be helpful or feedback on their experience with a supplier.

Go ahead and flame away, if you want. I am usually quiet and stay out of the drama/controversy but do feel we can get tunnel vision sometimes so wanted to share my views on the subject. As a side note, I have never ordered from TW but if I hadn't just ordered the ego stuff on the co-op, I would be going for the sale ego, for sure. I can always do a charge back on my cc if they don't follow through.

    Oh you ninny!

(((((((((((rose)))))))))) you are too sweet to flame! As pointed out, we all can have our own opinions (I know I'm full of them) and we all get territorial, and protect our favorites too. As long as we all stay civil (as we have) I don't see any reason not to post both the good AND the bad experiences. We all have that right, and that's how we learn :)

Frankly, as a fairly new vaper, I would much rather hear the good, the bad, and the ugly about any (and/or all) companies who cater to our particular choice in nicotine delivery devices and supplies.

If I only read good things about a company, and not a single negative thing, I am liable to steer way clear of that company, primarily, because there is not a company out there that has not failed on some level. Running a business PERFECTLY is an impossibility--no one can please everyone all the time.

This doesn't even take into account the fact that this is a fledgling market. There are bound to be failure rates with devices, trial and error issues with flavors, customer service reps who might be having a bad day, lost, missing or incorrect product included in orders, and the list goes on.

My opinion is that if we can talk about the good, then the bad should also be shared. Knowledge is power, the more information I/we have, the better off we are. We will be more capable of making much better and well-informed choices if we hear ALL sides.
