I suspect that there are at least a few suppliers who use multiple accounts and I found one fairly obvious example so I used the "Report This Post" button to bring it to the attention of the staff here. But was troubled when I saw that the supplier, whom I was reporting (and who remain nameless here), answered the report with a PM saying to never report posts in his private forum again, that they don't use multiple accounts.
His/her tone was quite harsh and threatening and I found it odd that if I wanted to report what I feel is dishonest marketing, the only thing I can do is make a report to the person who is being dishonest. I understand that this forum makes money off suppliers and in return gives them privileges, but isn't having that much privilege just a bit too much? Is there any way you could install that vb mod that automatically detect multiple accounts and just ban all of them. It really dillutes the forum in my opinion and makes for quite akward situations like what I described above. Or at the very least, maybe have any reported posts made in the suppliers' forums create a new thread in the ECF Staff (non-suppliers) staff forum, so that the reports can be investigated by ECF staff and not the supplier? Just a thought...
Thanks
