I'm posting this here as well as the General section because I know it will stay around a little longer. I'm hoping more of us will consider stopping in local vape shops and encouraging them to take a CASAA display and encourage their customers to join CASAA and fight the FDA Regulations. I've been successful in every shop I have stopped into and they have all reimbursed me for the cost of the display. If you need any help in getting started, feel free to PM me and I will tell you how I go about discussing the Deeming Regulations and the additional materials that I provide them. Check out the banner this owner put on his web site.

I had the pleasure of visiting Vape Pkwy, a new vape shop in the Smyrna area, outside Atlanta. The owner, Ken, is a great guy. It is a nice shop with a very good variety of APV's such as the Innokin line, Spinners, Evods and tanks, as well as nice line of e-liquids that you can sample.

Ken is fully supportive of CASAA. He not only paid for the CASAA display for his counter but also for the CASAA business cards plus some!! He is actively encouraging his customers to join CASAA in the fight to keep vaping as we know it free from the FDA's Deeming Regulations.

Ken has put a big and very cool, imaginative banner on his web site encouraging all to support CASAA. Stay on the main page until you see the banner change and you will see what I mean. So if you are in the Cobb County part of Atlanta or even just have a reason to be on Cobb Parkway (2620), stop in and see Ken at Vape Pkwy. And give his web site a look and consider placing an order. Here is his site:

Note: Ken wants to do a "promotion/give-away" to promote joining CASAA. I told him I thought it would be fine. If anyone from CASAA could let me know if that is OK, please let me know.

That's a pretty good idea there, wish I had thought of it.
:)

I'm always thrilled when a vendor just agrees to reimburse me for the display. Ken took the "bull by the horns" and put that great banner on his web site and came up with the idea of the promotion. As I move forward with visiting more B & M's, I plan to work into the conversation what Ken is doing with Vape Pkwy in support of CASAA.

That's great! Love the banner they made!

As far as a promotion, they are welcome to do anything they want to raise money for CASAA, but CASAA cannot endorse anyone doing so. There's a post somewhere from Kristin explaining it. I'll see if I can find it. :)

ETA: It was a link she placed in a post to a FAQ for Vendors & Stores: http://casaa.org/Vendors-Stores.html

Our local regional meet took up a raffle for a premium vaping basket (mods, toppers, batteries, chargers, liquids est. value- over $800). $2/ticket-5 ticket limit. We were happy to submit over $2K in May. CASAA has no issue with contests that benefit their efforts for our rights. As stated, the CASAA logo cannot be displayed so as to indicate that CASAA endorses any product or service.

Visiting vape shops in person is without question the way to make the right things happen.
I am loving your efforts, and wishing others around this country would do the same.

Thanks, DC. It usually only takes about 20 - 25 minutes. If possible, it helps to visit during the week, in the middle of the day when they may have few customers around and they can take the time to talk. On one occasion, I had to come back a different time because it was just too busy.
