Suprem-e - Mang ONE Ice

This will be the first product from the Italian manufacturer Suprem-e that I will be able to try. I have a very nice supporter - Peva71 - who helps me to report about products like this one. In the description they promise a really special flavour, which is mango, vanilla and biscuit, all spiked with lots of ice. The smell is absolutely fine, with a nice hint of mango and vanilla biscuit. The flavours, unfortunately, go in different directions. Let's start in order. The mango is a very ripe version, just a touch away from being 'nauseating'. It's very sweet and the sweetener is so strong that after steaming it sticks to the roof of my mouth and after a while it makes my mouth taste unpleasant. The biscuit and vanilla are very faintly perceptible as the fruit completely overpowers them. And finally, the ice chunks help the mango to dominate. It's not too cool, but has an icy effect in the aroma. As good as it smells, it tastes as bad. Unfortunately there is more than one flavour problem in this aroma, the mango is strong and overripe, over sweetened, the vanilla biscuit is barely noticeable and the cooling brings out the tanginess of the fruit even more. One could speculate if it wasn't so sweet, or if they had cut back a bit on the mango, I think the idea would have been very good, but the execution didn't leave a pleasant taste, unfortunately.
