The cynical part of me thinks it'll go something like this:

SG: I received many stories of people who no longer smoke and are very happy they don't. Very many stories. Here are 3 that I wish to highlight.

(None of which mention vaping)

Yeah, I think you're right. This is all political, has nothing to do with health.

I posted my story on their page. I don't expect to ever hear or see a word about it but it's there for the world to understand why I vape. I hope that someone with some authority reads some of them and actually gets off his .... and does something to change the political climate of the topic. I'll keep dreaming, vaping, and fighting. :)

It is nice to read all the comments stating "I tried everything - gum, patches, cold turkey, that medication and none of them worked - then I found vaping." I don't use Facebook, but I'm sure the ECF members that do will let him know that vaping is the answer.

The vaping industry need a lobbyist. If someone was in DC throwing around a couple million a month in "donations", they could buy a few votes here and there and it might start to make a difference. It's the only way anything gets done in that town. Politicians don't vote for their constituency, or morals, or virtue, or the public good. They vote for the highest bidder.

Yeah, see I don't do Facebunk, I quit that years ago, and they are still spamming me to get me back on there, telling me I have messages when I never got any while using it. My guess is the Surgeon General also has better things to do.

    "Facebunk" lol :)

I was glad I could read it without a facebook account. I hate almost everything there is about social media. Give me a bar and friends around a table anyday over a computer and a screen.

I wish I had more time to read the posts. I find them amazing. The one thing I got out of it is it will be hard to ignore vaping now. If they do ignore it, they are the typical politicians that we know and love. Maybe Elmo will give Dr. Murphy (or however his name is spelled, a clue.

The cynic in me believes that the vaping stories will be ignored if the person went to 0 nicotine, but if the person is still using nicotine then the story will be used as an example of how vaping does not help stop nicotine addiction.

The conspiracy theorist in me believes this is an exercise in datamining and will be used to help build up a database of people who are avoiding paying sin tax by vaping rather than smoking, and will be used as evidence that vaping needs to be more strictly regulated and taxed heavier.
