VG = Higher viscosity, Sweeter, more vapour but less TH.

PG = Thinner, tasteless, better TH and flavour but less vapour.
I know all that, guys. Thanks. It's just, my favourite BVC juices are crap on the V4. The max VG stuff shows it's potential here. Just my 2 Euro-cents.

Two euro-cents is worth a lot more. It would be like me saying, that's just my 20 dollars.

I agree though. My high VG (which is most everything save a couple juices I really like that don't offer a choice) taste so damn good. EC Donut Pounder is an absolute treat out of the K4 when I first wake up. It's also healthier than pounding an actual donut.

I pay for some Kuro coil winders in a group buy, and FT has them for substantially less a week later. Oh, well.
Is anyone else refilling by just removing the lower part of the top cap instead of opening at the top nut? My top nut is the stiffest seal on the entire KF4 and I always need rubber gloves or something grippy to get it open. I've often just opened the lower part of the top cap and refilled through there without any issues. I'm assuming the pressure will force a small amount of juice into the universal connector assembly, but so far I haven't had any issues with leaking by doing this. Perhaps when opening the juice control after filling the juice is forced into the chamber saturating the wicks?

When using the glass segment, and thats the only one I've used so far, I mainly fill taking the top cap away completely. Then, when filled, I disassemble the cap, screw the lower part in first, then the top nut. No issues. So far, the V4 has been very forgiving.

I've been using mine in the plastic tank nano mode, so I for sure use the top nut as I don't want to strip the plastic tank threads with continued use. The top nut is really snug, even after a month of use, but it does break in a bit.

My Top nut works very smoothly. Partially because it's covered in juice, but also because I have to unscrew it every 3-4 hits to get an air bubble in the tank!!

Yes, I'm still having serious issues with juice flow. I've tried every wick style imaginable (all Rayon) but it still won't keep the wick wet! I've had partial success when the tank was close to empty, but most of the time it vapor-locks all the way to the bottom, and then gets really stubborn when I fill it.

100%VG, glass tank, S-kit, JC open, no modifications (I removed my contact bushing until this is resolved, although it shouldn't make a difference)

Anyone else having this problem?

How is it with a less viscous juice? Does it wick properly with a 50 / 50? Are you able to keep the wicks wet by covering the four air intake holes on the juice control ring and giving it a suck to draw juice into the chamber periodically?

I've only used 60% and 70% vg in my KF4; but I've never had much success with Smax, which is 90% vg in my KF3.1's. The only time it has wicked passably is when it's been like 35C or above.

Whilst I'd only try on a clone myself, drilling out the four juice flow holes to the deck could aid wicking.

Also, how was it before you installed the S-kit?

Very good questions. With a thick, 100% VG juice and wide open S-kit air flow you may not be creating enough of a pressure change in the chamber to draw more juice in.

I haven't tried thinner juice yet, only very warm VG, which didn't seem to help.

I can get the wick wet by covering the air intake holes, but it's somewhat hard to control how much juice I get in there. (flood)

I didn't leave the stock Center Post in long enough to tell if it worked or not. Not even a half of a tank before I installed the S-kit.

I really want to start drilling and whittling, but I'd rather know what I'm doing wrong before I mess up such an expensive tank.

I have used (PG/VG) 70/30, 50/50, 40/60 and currently running 100%VG (so to speak). All wick well With 100%VG I've trimmed the wick tails (only the tails) by about half horizontally.
Have you posted a pic of your trimmed 100 VG wick tails? I would be interested in seeing exactly how it looks after you've trimmed them.
