I feel I shouldn't have to either on a €160 atomizer, but yet I do.
Try to tighten the air draw on yours, make it 1/2 open. Is it a smooth tight draw? If so, than it's fine.
It's not on mine.
Like I wrote - my only issue is the gurgly tight draw, and i want to make it work for me. Open is too open for me (at least at this vaping stage). It's not that I'm rebuilding, altering the whole thing.

I like my stuff perfect.

I have the same issue with my K4. I wanted the same "stiff" draw that I have on my KFL+s, but my K4 "gurgled" the more that I tightened the AFC screw. I ended up just backing out the AFC screw, until the "gurgling" stopped. My air-flow is a bit more "airy" compared to my KFL+s, but I was able to quickly adjust to the increased air-flow (lighter drag) and all is good.
On a second note (from experience), your coil could be to close to the air-intake and the increased wicking caused by closing the AFC could lead to over-wicking/flooding/gurgling. You can try to raise your coil, lessen the diameter of your coil, or open the AFC until a happy equilibrium is met.
I'm just throwing it out there....

Yes, I'm backing out the screw too until the gurgling stops. And trying to adjust.
I do 2.4-2.5mm coils and build them 1.5-2mm above the air-intake. I'll experiment with 2mm and different heights, thanks!

There was a specific thread made to discuss opinions on clones. I'm just posting here with a pic as I purchased one accidentally and will ensure it won't happen again, hopefully I can help you all as well. I'm not bashing clones, not on a high horse about the auth either, just showing differences. We are all adults with opinions and can spend our money how we want.

V4 on right is auth from Intaste, third shipment out when the sale went live Dec 6th. Counterfeit 1:1 on left, purchased approx. 2 hours ago from a B&M, manuf unknown but employee said robot tech (no manuf designation on box).

On right is authentic, left is counterfeit. Counterfeit does have auth tinted tank from Intaste, cracked on bottom as last few threads were off on the atty.

I don't want to go into discussion, certainly not looking for drama, and I don't want to derail thread, so here is my one and only pic for you all. Hopefully you can discern the diff.

Was it in the box and the box wrapped in foil?

R
No, i posted the first unboxing pics. Qorax kindly included me at the beginning of this post. Them pics are of me opening it. So what is there is how it came.
It was just the box with some extras i purchased. P3 connector and 4s kit in a envolope. The mini screwdriver was in a little baggy placed inside the box with a C9V sticker.
Hence my earlier post that the box was opened before it reached me as the foil sticker was cut open. It wasn't opened by customs as i live in the UK and C9V is in the UK. So don't really know why it was opened.
Assume C9V opened it before dispatch to ensure everything was in order. Defect units etc.

sorry to hear about your misfortune regarding the counterfeit. Definitely isn't right without you being aware of it before purchase.

In that pic you can tell right away which is authentic and which is the fake. The machining is totally different and size.

Again sorry to hear but I'm glad you got it sorted and informed the rest of us.

The box stickers were not effective, Svoemesto even stated they were going to start inc them inside the box as they would open anyway. Perhaps they will make changes, but the first batch was like that. I bet cloud9 just gave you an extra by inc the screwdriver, but just a guess.

I purchased mine from Cloud9Vaping as well and my seal was intact. My K4 included a mini screwdriver that was in a separate bag and a C9V sticker, but NO candy! For those of you who don't know, C9V usually includes a few pieces of candy with their orders and I've come to expect it. I'd rather have the candy than the screwdriver! lol...

i wonder how many people are getting scammed with a clone and paying and thinking they have gotten an authentic and never know it? I to have an authentic and a clone and sorry to say but the clone looks and and vapes just as good as the authentic. most people would never know or care if one has an authentic or clone if it makes you happy then great.

Hey so I fixed a few issues I was having. I rebuilt the afc portion and made sure to really tighten the retaining nut in the base. Now it doesn't wobble with JC open. Second, I found that by tightening the draw via the afc screw, it's wicking my 100% vg juice way better. No need for priming puffs. I happen to like mouth to lung inhales, so it works for me. Many might find the draw too tight though.
