Oh forgot to share my unfortunate experience

So i was vaping and driving, of course police saw me. Pulled me over, totally forgot to put my k4 p3 on the side. Was in my lap...got out and it fell tip first on the floor!!
Picked it up cleaned it all up, vaped ok which is great!
However has a few scratches here and there on the k4, the glass has a huge crack!!!
Needless to say i threw it out and put on the plastic one it came with. Cloud9 are all sold out of the glass atm.
P3 has 3 dings in it too

I know was my fault but thought I'd share with the rest. If you're vaping and driving ALWAYS put it to one side otherwise you will forget and it will fall out when you get out!

To put the plastic tank on you need to take off the two silver rings which have also got scratches on. Not taken any pics off them as i took them off.

Not sure if in the pics you can see the damage on the p3 as it's hard to see it properly with my clear carbon wrap on. Don't want to take it off to see the damage!

I've come to the conclusion that you just can't have nice things...

On a serious note, I always remember to lay my device down on the passenger seat or in a cup holder, I've also forgot it was on my lap before, eeeek. I've also fallen into the habit of doing a lap check before getting out of the layzboy after napping/falling asleep in it...at least there is a throw rug covering the hardwood floor in the living room, but still...just because I got lucky a few times doesn't mean that luck will last, lol

Ok ok, sorry man.. That stuff happens. I have scratches on my P3 too, even with no dropping or anything, but that's what you get on a daily used device.

Did the police pull you over because of the clouds?

I got the chrome p3 which shows the faint lighter scratches more. Which annoyed me as no matter what case i used it would scratch. So i got this thin wrap which really helps!!! Glad i bought it!

Can relate. Scratches on the new shiny RTA, scratches on the mod... BUT! As long as the stuff works, fine by me. Of course, broken glass pieces are not OK... Spare parts are usually not cheap. Or shipping takes 2 weeks.

Btw has anyone noticed any discolouration of the spring? I'm assuming it looses it's impact on conductivity? Mine isn't silver, it's gone browny white even with cleaning with isopropyl.

Anyone else had this?

Mine has done the same thing, I purchased two "spare parts kit number one" as it includes a new spring. I haven't used them, and the discoloration hasn't effected the performance to me. I did notice just the spring is available now too, intaste has it as a stand alone purchase.

I love chrome and i wanted something different. I don't think satin looks all that. Quiet sad actually as they just released a new p3 in colors, specifically zenkote gun metal! So angry!! Lol
My last provari mini was black. Just wanted something different.

Mine has done the same thing, I purchased two "spare parts kit number one" as it includes a new spring. I haven't used them, and the discoloration hasn't effected the performance to me. I did notice just the spring is available now too, intaste has it as a stand alone purchase.

Oh i didn't know they were in them spares bags. Cloud9 doesn't do the spring stand alone.
I'm not sure if it is affecting my vapes hence i wanted guidance. But logic dictates to me that how it is now will not perform as good as it should as if it was new.

The cops didn't freak out when you reached down to pick up a big metal thing? Cops around here would shoot you instantly if you tried that.

The nicest and most professional police I've met was German police (I had a small accident in Germany, I was guilty).
Out Latvian guys..well, it varies..

I've dealt with German police officers before and although polite and correct they don't make you feel warm and fuzzy

Well I'm in the UK.
They approached the door i carried on vaping. Asked to turn the car off etc and follow him to the police vehicle. I was following him so he had his back to me. So when it dropped he assumed it was my phone or something else lol
