FINALLY GOT IT OFF!!!! Hallelujah! Going to wash this thing up and use Chapstick or something on these dang orings! Thanks for all the tips and help folks.

If anyone else comes across this, I HIGHLY recommend a thick, flat type of rubber band on the svoemesto logo/ring to grip! Oh, and if using a 16 g Luer lock needle to put in the JC hole, it will bend. LOL

Over the past year the two smartest purchases I have made are:

1. A 1/16 inch drill bit (for the kayfun L+, R91%, and other attys with base with air hole, including the K4). This has never failed me, doesn't break or bend. Only slight "force" is ever needed.

2. A pair of "Deluxe Latex Gloves" (Rite Aid, "Home" brand). I also have a box of nitrile gloves but those sometimes do not provide enough grip. I just bought a replacement pair of the Deluxe Gloves a couple of weeks ago. Cost $ 2.99. Sunday last I had my first instance of what looked like arthritis fingers, rebuilding the K4. Finally discovered I had Parts # 10 and 11 were reversed./pie down. Fixed! I should never see that again. :D

Wish I had your two smartest purchase list before. ;) I have more stupid purchases then I care to admit, more meaningless time wasted then I can add up and super sore fingers.

And I probably have every YT vid memorized on how to take apart a KF4-even the guy with the accent that I can barely understand.

Hey folks - KF4 arrived today and I'm having a problem I hope someone can help me with. I went through a tank on my build with no issues, then re-wicked and re-filled with another liquid. Both are 50/50 liquids. The second tank is not wicking right and I can't figure it out. If I close the liquid control and open it again I see bubbles, but no new liquid feeds as I am vaping. The draw also tightens up on me as I vape. If I draw hard without firing a few times it gets more airy and I see bubbles.

I tried trimming the wicks further and re-wicked again - no luck. I am sure I'll eventually figure out what I'm doing wrong, but any tips to help speed the problem solving are most welcome. I think I am missing something silly here.

This is an authentic purchased from intaste. The 4s kit is installed and I'm using it on a P3. Coil is 2.0 mm, 26 gauge kanthal, 7 wraps, 0.75 ohms. Wick is KGD cut to the edge of the build deck. The juice intake holes are not getting blocked by the wick as best as I can tell. I'm currently running this at 18W / 3.7 V. Currently reading 0.80 ohms on the P3. Ohm readings fluctuate between .075 and 0.80.

On the plus side the first tank was awesome. This is by far the best KF I've used. Vapor production is very good for an RTA, no spit back like I got with the KFL+, no whistle, and flavors were very nice. And with the P3 connector I finally have an atty that actually fits flush. Overall quite pleased.

I will respond to the draw part, check to see that the coil isn't too close to the air outlet hole.

Thanks dude. I actually considered PM'ing you about this since I know you have spent copious amounts of time with the KF4. :)

And yes - it is rather close. I think it's just a bit over 1.5mm clearance.

Got my black Tobeco yesterday, and so far i'm a bit dissapointed with this one.I got the stainless one a few weeks back, and it's been perfect, but the black one has an issue somewhere haha.I gave it a cleaning, coil and wicked it,and filled it up,only to find it wont feed.Open the juice control after flipping it,and not 1 bubble, pulled it apart and checked the wick it was good,so i'm going to have to pull it all back apart tonight and check all the holes, hopefully it's just a burr or something, not sure though.

You should check each and every hole. There are folks with a lot of Tobeco K4 experence here:

LOLOLOL..YES! He has a ton of great info but I have a very hard time w/accents. Unless they sound like their from Chicago, Boston or NY. Heavy southern accents, I look like a deer in headlights trying to figure them out.

You'd understand me. Spent the first 38 years of my life in Chicago. The last 17 in North Carolina. I will never lose my Chicago accent but also cannot help but to pick up the southern lexicon. I fought it at first and then came to realize some of their words work better. :)

LMAO-I'm the reverse. Born in N.C. (Ft Bragg) but lived there only 3 months and grew up outside of Chicago in NW Indiana. But I'm sure our accents are the same sans I have zero southern slangs/accent.
