Rechecked with Phil, the spring indeed seems to be part of the conducting circuit.
The springs are not necessarily an issue.
The springs in my Gpin handle .4 and .5 ohm builds with no issues.

Likewise, the V4 spring will handle sub ohming too.

I cannot, at this time, imagine a KF4 Lite...
With the first kayfun, the biggest part of it was the wasted space in that catch cup...eliminate that, and voila! The Kayfun Lite!
This time, however, that big ol' chunk of real estate houses the juice flow control, and the dock for the different hybrid adapters...
Personally, I HIGHLY doubt that they will be able to reduce the size of this unit, and keep all the same features...
Just my opinion...
I do wish they'd make a smaller P3 hybrid adapter...it would be nice if this thing wasn't nautilus sized!!!

The release date has already been set at December 6th...for a while now...

I think they were talking about the KFL+ v2, not the new KFv4 Lite.

Looks like they are saying the KF V4 is a premium device and carries the price accordingly. If the buyer doesn't want to spend that much they have the KFL and KFL+ on sale at a much lower cost.
I don't think we will see a KFL V3 for awhile.

Upon second reading, you're right. But it has been stated that the V4 Lite will be released 1Q 2015.
Thanks for the promising news Bronze... I am optimistic that a new rendition of the Lite will hit the market soon - but not until the V4 has enough time to soar.
Who stated that? No one official, I believe.
I state that there will be a v5 in 2 months.
