• Need help from former MFS (MyFreedomSmokes) customers

Has any found a supplier or company that has tobacco e-juice like or very similar to MFS Turbosmog, Tall Paul, or Red Luck?

I know the deal with Chinese copy/patent law. I also get that litigation is expensive. But if it were my company/product, I would at least have a lawyer crank out a letter and start sending them out to every vape shop/site in the USA/EU for selling them. Of course I am not an expert in international law so this is just me thinking out loud. I am thinking along the lines of Nike and fake shoes. It would seem there would be some kind of recourse. Perhaps having a few of the larger sites/stores pulling clones would make smaller stores follow.

Then again, they make a great product and maybe they feel they are making enough money. Maybe they feel that the clones are beneficial for people who vape that are not able to afford the authentic.

Is there a clone/replica that is identical in build quailty/materials of the authentic ( Or really close)?

Tobeco makes them pretty close to the original. I have 3 that work great. They're almost a year old now and still look new.

Are they the same grade steel? is the machining anywhere close to the authentic?
No they aren't. They are ok but can be a hit or miss on machining. I have two that I had to use vice to get apart due to burs in the threads. Eh pro is the best machining quality. None of them are the same material. They are a low grade SS. Tobeco won't say what they use other than its SS. Eh pro at least uses 316 but I forgot what grade 316.

Hit or miss is the best way to describe clones. Some of them are well made, some not so much. And within the same brand. If you got one that was made with new tooling then the threads will be smooth. If you get one with worn tooling it wont be smooth. They don't necessarily use SPC on their processes.

I wish more vape shops carried the original. I wanted to buy another v4 today. I called all over Atlanta but they all only carry clones.

You know you could just put a small screwdriver into one of the holes of the Juice Control and use that as leverage for a stuck JC?

Okay, after finally figuring out the v4 and rocking it next to a kfl+v2 for a week.... the v4 is now my favorite atty. I am going to buy two more. I actually like that it has 1,000,012 parts :) I think the ability to pull the deck and recoil/wick and refill from the top is really great and a feature I use a lot. I think having 4 of them built out will last me for a week and being able to clean/refresh on Sundays. That should allow me to have them in rotation without having to fiddle during the week. If I do need to rewick/coil, I won't have to take everything apart and clean it.

That doesn't always work. I broke my screwdriver once like that lol.

I can't find my steel tank anywhere at home and with a broken glass tank, I can't use my k4. I am waiting for K5 or whatever it is called.
Pm me DG. I have a spare steel tank section I'm not using I'll give ya. Only thing is I'm not sure if it's from one of the clones I tried [emoji20]

Big companies like Nike, The North Face, Callaway Golf Clubs work w/ customs to stop the import of counterfeits. I guess if enough manufacturers/people had trademarked and/or patented products and they complained to US Customs about companies like Fastech, and other suppliers of counterfeits maybe, just maybe the flow of counterfeits from China would slow down.

Well you can always go here and get whatever you need:

Kayfun v4 Replacement Parts

Don't know if they're authentic or clones, but they work. I've had to replace the glass on one of mine already and this is where I got it from.

They are more than likely aftermarket, but if one is in need, it's nice to be able to buy each piece individually.
SvoëMesto had divided most of the parts into "spare parts kits" but not all the parts were available.
For a full list of those kits, Creme De Vape (formerly Cloud9vaping) has them for sale.
Oh, and Spectrum Tanks has colored glass available for the KF4 too! If ya gotta replace it, you may as well have some fun with color! Top quality Pyrex (borosilicate) too!
