Hope this late response to some earlier comments isn't out of line...gotta say though, if you get a dry hit from an authentic Kayfun Lite or any other Kayfun for that matter you might wanna just stick with prebuilt coils.
Yes out of line. That discussion is OVER.

And to try to tell me to stick to pre-built coils? PLEASE!

Again! Apparently our definitions of dry hits are not the same.... I'm not talking about a pull that burns your cotton, or even hurts, or anything like that. I'm talking about a slightly harsher hit is what I consider a dry hit. One that isn't so nice and moist and delicious is all. And you give a quick pull to suck a little juice in there because you know where you like/prefer it.

To tell me that every puff you've ever taken off a KAYFUN is just orgasmic bliss is absurd!

Just stop it! All of you!! Stop! Holy cow! I mean.... Seriously!

How can someone even say they know what a dry hit is if they claim to have never had one??? How can they ever try to "help" someone if they've never had an issue? A mechanic can't work on cars of he's never tinkered. Ya've never tinkered??? Tried something different!?

How do you even know what you **actually** like??

What is going on here! And this thread got so quiet...

Whatever!!

**and cue me probably getting a warning worse.... And also cue some other guy or two pounding his chest saying he's so good at vaping. It's coming - I know it is! Lol

Today, I got a gurgle out of a KFL+ that has been sitting on the sidelines for a little over a week.

I've been vaping since mid 2010.
I've owned Kayfuns since the 3.1 came out.
I've had all kinds of abnormal performance from them, from time to time. It's the nature of the beast.
Doesn't matter the brand juice, wire, or wick you use.
Doesn't matter how perfectly the wick is placed, the coil is wrapped, or the tank is sealed.
These tanks are open to atmospheric pressure. They are not hermetically sealed.
It doesn't matter how "good you are at vaping", how inexperienced you are, or how deep into denial you are.
The laws of physics and thermodynamics will always prevail.
What ABSOLUTELY DOES NOT MATTER is: The experiences each person has.
Everyone will have different journeys. Yes, they may comparatively sound/look/feel similar, but they will always have differences.
There are simply too many variable for any two people to have EXACTLY the same journey with a device. Even if those journeys are relatively trouble-free.

Before the mods have to step in here...let's just close this particular matter.
WHO CARES WHO HAS -WHAT- EXPERIENCE WITH -WHAT- DEVICE???
WHO CARES WHO DOESN'T BELIEVE THAT PERSON???
JEEZ!
I'm not taking sides here, but this has gotten out of hand on all sides!

I'll tell you what's crazy....looking in a kayfun thread for the "worlds best vaper"...thats whats crazy. We're all over there in the squonking threads! Duh!

I will say, I've used kayfuns since their inception. Love em...and I've had better luck with them being consistent than any other tank. However, I've had dry hits and gurgling. But, I went from 50/50 to max VG for awhile...I top filled instead of using the little screw for awhile... I tried upping the power to get more vapor for awhile....I tried different wicking materials, different wicking methods... I've changed lots of things. Somehow, my problems seemed to arise when my need to tinker kicked in. I doubt it's a coincidence.

Didn't Germany just get enough signatures to take their TPD petition to parliament? I'm wondering if Svoemesto are awaiting that outcome?
My betting is that this new thing, whatever it is, is TPD-ready, at least in some way! I doubt they are waiting for the petition outcome. Just being deliberately slow to tick us off...lol!

IMO it will do them no good whatsoever. The decision has already been made and 50K or whatever sigs ain't gonna change a thing.

ETA I am putting in for worlds worst vaper- I haven't owned a single atomizer that I haven't managed to screw things up in one way or another. Thing is, I try all sorts of ideas out on them. Some work, others... not so much. For ME, fiddling around w/different builds, modifications, etc. is a large part of the enjoyment I get from vaping. If it was all plug and play I would still vape I suppose- but it just wouldn't be the same.;)
